Ulasan Catussaba Resort Hotel

This was an experience of great highs and lows. We would not return to this resort. Positives first. The location is very convenient, less than ten minutes from the airport (about 30 mins from the city center, but if you plan to spend your time on the beach you can't beat it). The beach attached to the resort is beautiful and pleasant, with lots of vendors selling food, drinks, and trinkets. The pool is nice, with plenty of chairs and music always playing. However, there is no real poolside bar. The closest bar is way back by the hotel, and in any event you need to go inside to a busy kiosk to pay for a drink before you can order one (it's much better to just buy drinks from the vendors on the beach; they're cheaper, stronger, and larger). There's no poolside bathroom either, so plan on a hike to pee unless you have a poolside room. The dinner buffet is decent, kind of hit-or-miss, with some dishes being delicious and others mediocre. The breakfast buffet is very basic, the highlight being an omelette station. But don't expect five star food quality here by any stretch. All this was acceptable, but what will cause us not to return was the room itself. The room quality simply isn't worth the price. I'd expect to pay about half of what we paid for the quality of room and service we got. The furniture, floor, bathroom fixtures, sheets, etc., are all extremely basic, what you'd expect at a budget hostel. Our "king size bed" was actually two twin mattresses with a mattress pad wrapped around; the two mattresses were very different heights. It was quite uncomfortable. Our room key constantly stopped working. It just suddenly wouldn't open our door. This happened about 10 times during our four-night stay. Every time we'd need to return to the desk to get the key re-programmed. The resort claimed that our cell phones' magnetism caused this. I would have accepted this, except that our room was never cleaned throughout the day, leading me to suspect that the cleaning staff couldn't get the door open either. The staff seem to have simply ignored this problem and moved on to clean the next room. All three evenings when we returned to the room, it remained dirty and untouched. We had to pester the staff repeatedly to get the room cleaned-- the first night, we had to ask them three times and the room was finally cleaned around 9pm, after we'd have preferred to be in for the night. The second night, we returned quite late and chose to simply sleep in a dirty room (with beach sand in the sheets) rather than wait for them to clean it in the middle of the night. The third night, we complained angrily at the front desk around 6pm and finally got the room clean at a reasonable hour. We were offered no apologies for these issues, nor any discounts, not so much as a free cocktail. Nothing. I will admit that this was our first hotel experience in Brazil, so we are uncertain what standard to expect, but I would not pay this price for the service and quality that we received anywhere in the world. Our friends stayed down in Barra at a generic hotel, paid 60% of what we did, and their room was of a much more acceptable quality. Bottom line: unless you're getting a day pass for beach and pool access, I would skip this place.

Estadia excelente! O resort é muito limpo, as instalações são ótimas e a vista para o mar é deslumbrante. Recomendo!

É um local que me agrada bastante. Como sugestão, a recepção poderia aprimorar o atendimento. Não se percebe um cuido com o hóspede, não chega a ser ruim, mas está longe ser um ótimo atendimento.

O hotel tem uma estrutura muito boa excelente café da manhã área de lazer muito boas porém os apartamentos estão muito precário tomada com risco de acidente, toalhas horríveis muito desgastadas a central de refrigeração péssima não refrigera a TV não corresponde o tamanho do quarto muito pequena imagem péssima.

Hotel necessita de repaginação urgente, tudo muito velho e ultrapassado

Ficamos três dias hospedados no Catussaba Resorts. A estrutura externa é da piscina e excelente, mas o serviço na praia deixa a desejar. Os quartos são amplos e confortáveis. Limpeza adequada e realizada diariamente. O café da manhã possui variedade e qualidade.

Gostamos bastante do Resort. Café delicioso e com muitas opções. O que não gostamos foi que as piscinas estavam extremamente geladas. Piscinas enormes e vazias porque ninguém conseguia entrar ou ficar muito tempo. Fomos no mês de Julho, apesar de ser mês chuvoso, estava ensolarado, mas independente disso, poderiam criar estratégias de aquecimento da água. Outro ponto negativo é que o espaço de jogos é muito pequeno e com 1 opção de cada jogo. Resort grande demais para termos que ficar na fila esperando jogar alguma coisa.

Hotel com uma beleza incrível, áreas comuns lindas, bem cuidadas e agradável. Os únicos pontos a desejar são os colchoes que são molengas e ruins e o atendimento no bar da piscina, poucas opções e os funcionários acham que estão te fazendo um favor, mas o restante da equipe é muito agradável e atenciosos.

Gostei do hotel, lugar agradável e bem bonito! Gostei das piscinas e meu quarto estava arrumado mas não estava bem varrido, tinha poeira no chão. O café da manhã e o atendimento de alguns funcionários deixaram a desejar.

Gostei do atendimento, porém tem um porteiro logo na entrada que foi ignorante, ficou GRITANDO na portaria perguntando se fomos buscar alguém, em qual hotel estava a reserva, enchendo de perguntas desnecessárias e prontamente veio outro se aproximou do carro e viu o número da reserva. Não vi o nome do porteiro, mas serve de alerta, inclusive falamos com o supervisor. Em geral , tudo ótimo.
