Friendly and accommodating staff, large room, comfortable bed, with pleasant living area outside room. Pool is on the small side and the crowd of inhabitants the day we were there was on the sprawling side…so we couldn’t use it. Valet parking is very useful.

Lovely hotel, great location in the centre and we returned after journeying north. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. We spent time on the roof terrace and in the small but adequate pool. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a good range of fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses. Eggs were freshly cooked as requested. All served in a delightful breakfast room. This hotel deserves 5 stars for the warmth and comfort it provided.

Having said that. It is not what it used to be, we believed. On the pictures it looks much more authentic than it really is. A lot is quite old and outdated. Very small pool and a bit old dark gym. For this reason we thought it was overpriced. Hotel is located at the main square where there is a market on Saturday. That was nice.

It is a beautiful hotel. Only the airconditioning has two settings: off and “Arctic-freeze”. Noticing this at check in I told the receptionist who did do nothing with my remarks. Back in the evening, as there was no fan I tried to get a nice temperature by opening the window. In order to do that I had to move most of the furniture. Even though outside was 19 degrees it did not help. I asked for another room (1 am). It had the same over-active airco. Back to my room I tried to block the vent of the airco with toilet paper and moved my bed away. But still the airco was blowing over my head. So I lifted the other matress to make a shield (3 am). Still, the arctic freeze did prevent my - by the time overheated body- to catch sleep. Airco off again followed by an airco on some 15 min later. Finally after one more “off” sleep got the better over me (4:30). Until at 6:30 the street noise became unbearable. I was there for the recce of a rally which would have stayed two nights at this hotel. Upon check out the clerk was not interested in the non functioning airco. Most of the rooms have the same issue he told me. Oh, and for those planning a winter stay. The heating has the same on-off principle. A shame. Because, at first sight, the hotel looks absolutely great.

While the location is good, overlooking its own attractive plaza, the hotel itself is nothing special. The old building greets its guests in a lobby arrayed with some decaying furniture (literally a chair broke as I sat on it) and a few vaguely historical-looking oil paintings. Nicely quaint, I suppose, but our room was mediocre at best with a good sized bed but the ancient bathroom was in serious need of maintenance. Breakfast was passable with the usual fiambre, fruit and weak coffee, but again nothing that you couldn't get elsewhere. For the price this hotel charges, one would really expect more. This is a facility in sore need of a serious makeover.

Everything was as we expected and were promised by the hotel. All staff are great even if no everyone spoke English they did their best to help. The valet parking is great as we did not need the car for two-day stay so we were totally happy to know that it was securely parked in the hotel's parking. The location is great with a walking distance to anywhere anyone may need in Salta. Next door great coffee shops, convenience stores, pharmacy, park, shopping area, etc. Wifi worked well and the laundry service is very swift and cheap. The rooms was spacious and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this place outside of all the tourists hassle. The spa area was closed - it was winter, so not a big deal. The breakfast could be the only place we would like to see the improvement for our next stay there - more vegan options and better coffee, please.

Un buen gusto impecable hasta en los más mínimos detalles. Cada elemento de la decoración te transporta a otra época de lujo y buen vivir. Gran amabilidad en la atención y los mejores desayunos y meriendas. Ubicado en pleno centro frente a la plaza. Un deleite para todos los sentidos.

Ótima hospedagem! Localização estratégica, camas confortáveis, limpeza em dia, funcionários agradáveis e atenciosos, café da manhã sortido e saboroso! Apenas uma coisa me incomodou: um barulho de compressor ao longe, provavelmente do equipamento do hotel.
