Altogether, a very pleasant stay, with lovely views.

We were driving by car and drove past the hotel twice. Not easy to fund, but we were guided by the helpful staff who even stood outside to welcome us. We paid extra for the on-site secure car park, which was a big bonus. We upgraded to a room with terrace view over the main road and clock tower. Slightly noisy on an evening, but wonderful views of the clock tower and towards the lake. The terrace window is double glazed and shuts out the noise when inside. The staff were very helpful with their introduction and spoke excellent English. Good air conditioning, a vital for the hot summer months. Rooms are a little on the small side and the bathroom (especially the shower) could do with modernising. The breakfast was varied and catered for all needs, but not as good as some of the reviews made out. There are only 32 rooms in the hotel and this is evidenced by the personal touch from the staff, who I could not praise highly enough. The location of the hotel is excellent and you are only a 5 minute walk to the lakeside and all that encompasses, with less than 10 minutes to the dock where the boats pick you up for the delights of the lake. There is a sun terrace on the top floor with sun loungers and tables/chairs that provides excellent views in both daytime and night time. A very definite plus from us and we would highly recommend this family run hotel. The negatives are not significant compared to the positives.

Clean hotel with fantastic friendly team. The hotel is pretty basic but clean and comfortable. Location is 5 mins walk from the lake with a lot of local bars and cafes around. There is elevator which is always a plus Also they have their own parking, book it in advance.

Although this hotel isn't one of the most modern, our stay here was very good. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Our room was a very good size, as was the bathroom although at times it took a while to get hot water. Also, the shower floor isn't non-slip. Comfortable bed. A kettle and tea/coffee would be wonderful as it's nice to have a cup of tea before going to breakfast. The breakfast was the best I have had anywhere. Individual portions of fresh fruit in a glass covered with clingfilm (but please cut the pieces smaller!!); individual tiny jars of dried prunes, dates, nuts; "detox water" was heavenly - water flavoured with fresh lime, lemon and ginger; usual selection of cured meats and cheeses, good selection of bread and rolls; lots of homemade cakes and mini desserts; omlettes or crepes available to order; "seasonal vegetables" selection was a bit odd - slices of cucumber, tomatoes and strips of peppers, but nice. All in all, an excellent selection. The staff are always quick with a greeting and smile. Bar has a very good selection of drinks, but it would be nice to get some nibbles with a drink. We took to going to the bar a few yards away. The hotel is located very close to the main clock tower and main shopping promenade and this made for a pleasant walk every evening. Lots of places to eat and drink along the way. Do consider hiring a car if you visit off peak though. The public transport is a joke. . Buses run when they feel like it, and it hampered our trips a bit. We waited over an hour and a half for a bus back to Desenzano train station at the end of the stay. Gave up and the hotel called a cab for us.

A wonderful, family-run hotel! A perfect location for exploring Lake Garda, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was a fantastic way to start the day. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and excellent value for money.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September. Our room on 4th floor with balcony, was perfect. Good sound proofing at night and lovely to sit out on in afternoon. The room and bathroom were spotless. Everything was in good condition. Breakfast - whatever you wished was freshly made and tasted delicious. The choice from the buffet overwhelmed me. All staff helpful, friendly and very polite. We booked a space in the hotel garage (costs extra) for our car due to a bad experience a few years back. But there is a little multistory about 200 m up the road. All in all a very satisfying stay in Hotel Eden. Thank you Mauro and Laura

Exellent location and breakfast. The staff is very helpful. We are staying for 3 nights and I recomand this hotel. You can visit the Garda Lake must beautiful part by a walking distance and nearby you can find restorants and everything you need

Ottimo albergo in posizione ottimale. Proprietari accoglienti e disponibili. Camera funzionale, ottimo il servizio. Colazione a buffet e con servizio al tavolo, con vasta scelta sia nel dolce che nel salato. Struttura consigliata.

für einen Familienausflug hatten wir ein Hotel in zentraler Lage von Salo gesucht und waren im Internet aufgrund des tollen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis auf das Hotel Eden gestossen. Die Zimmer sind funktionell und sehr sauber, wenn auch nicht auf dem allerneuesten Stand. Der Service ist wirklich klasse und das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns alle begeistert. Die Lage ist absolut zentral, das Hotel ist eingerahmt von anderen Häusern, so dass man fast daran vorbeifährt mit dem Auto. Die zu reservierenden Stellplätze für das Auto wären lt. Hotel ca. 400 m entfernt, dafür gibt es eine Hoteleigene Garage in der man Plätze reservieren kann. Insgesamt haben wir uns im Hotel Eden sehr wohl gefühlt und waren sehr zufrieden.

ein sehr gutes Hotel mit freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen. Das Hotel liegt gut zentral und hat eine gute Ausstattung. Wir waren auf einer Rundreise um den Gardasee und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das beste ist das Frühstück. Schon allein dafür lohnt es sich dieses Hotel zu wählen.

Cet hôtel est une pépite! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et professionnels,parlent assez bien le français . L hôtel est d une propreté remarquable. Très bien situé . Nous avons réservé une place privée dans leur garage . Le petit déjeuner est extraordinaire,très copieux et produits de qualité. Nous ne connaissions pas la région ,Salõ nous a séduit.

Cet hôtel est une très belle découverte. Il est situé idéalement. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, à l’écoute et très disponibles. Hôtel très propre, le personnel est très agréable et très serviable. Le petit-déjeuner est remarquable avec des produits frais et faits maison. Un vrai plaisir pour commencer la journée. Hotel che ha superato le nostre aspettative! Posizione fantastica attaccata all'area pedonale, camera spaziosa e moderna, letti comodissimi, personale splendido , e una delle migliori colazioni che abbia mai trovato , c'erano persino le crepes fatte sul momento! Assolutamente consigliato !

Hôtel très bien placé, près des rues animées du centre et pas loin du lac, très propre, accueil en français, très sympathique. Chambre nickel, bien équipée, et surtout calme. Petit déjeuner très bon, une très bonne adresse pour un séjour court ou long.
