The Coach House

This place is located in a residential neighborhood that is very walkable whether you are heading downtown or to the parks and small beaches of South Salem. It is super easy to check-in, you don't need to have an awkward conversation with anyone to get yourself into your room. There is no front desk. The whole place is beautifully renovated, don't let the outside appearance fool you. The inside is super modern and chic. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need. I loved the black ceilings and the IG-ammable hallway installations.

Beautiful, unique property. There didn’t seem to be any other guests while we were there, at least not the first night, so I can’t speak to noise with a full house. More than enough towels were left. Beds were firm but comfortable. We had a two bedroom room and our daughter loved having her own tv and space. The dark curtains were nice for blocking out the street view at night. Lots of amenities, like waters, coffee pods and cups, snacks (we didn’t eat because of a nut allergy), robes (also didn’t use), fan & heater (we used both), and sound machine which was also so useful. We like to sleep with sound so it was a very nice touch. We also loved the Roku and all of the channel options. It was a great stay. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I had the best time. Room 1 was gorgeous. The lobby area where you get to your room was decorated beautifully. It was Modern, clean, and a great experience. Great walk into town. We are already planning our next trip!!! Getting in touch was staff was so easy.

What an amazing place!! So beautiful!! They thought of every possible detail and they are very attentive to our needs even thought all was done via text.location was perfect minutes away from downtown Salem. i recommend this place 100%

Just completed a girl’s trip to Salem and we stayed at the Coach House. Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms. The Coach House is located in a residential area but is an enjoyable 15ish minute walk to the main drag. I was expecting it to be noisy because of its size, but I never saw or heard anyone else outside my own group. Easy check in and out. Thanks

Loved this place! Convenient location. Amazing room. The decor is gorgeous. Beds so comfy I bought the same mattress when I got home. Good communication and very helpful. Great photo opps inside. Would stay there again!

My sister and I stayed in suite 8 this weekend (11/2-11/4) to visit Salem for the first time. We absolutely loved The Coach House. It's about a 5 minute drive to town-center which was super easy. The mobile check-in/check-out was so easy especially as we checked in very late at night and didn't want to disrupt any staff having to stay late. The aesthetic was chef's kiss, the room was very clean, updated, comfortable and spacious! Thanks for s lovely stay, we'll definitely be staying there again when we visit and will recommend to all of our friends!

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay for a Halloween trip to Salem. It is certainly a very beautiful hotel and looks exactly like the pictures, which is very rare. However, and this may be my fault (missed the memo or something) but it's important for people to understand when booking: this hotel has no lobby and no staff on-site to my knowledge, and the concierge is only available what seems via text and only between 7am and 7pm, which makes no sense for most guests, who are out at concerts or tours. To me, this was not worth the $900+ I paid for a single night after tax. Checkin was a stressful multi-step, multi-day process. You must fill out your "passport" the day before so make sure you're available to do this. Otherwise, you won't receive your check-in instructions. Multiple lengthy text messages come in the check-in process and throughout your stay, which is disruptive.
