We spent two days at this charming hotel. The room was cosy and as expected the food in the restaurant was very good, both dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really bad, actually one of the worst we have ever experienced and we have travelled a lot. It started already when entering the restaurant, although we had booked a table we had to wait very long until we got attention, no bread or water were served until we asked for it both evenings, wine was forgotten, when we asked for today’s vegetarian the waiter forgot, when we finished the main course the table was half cleaned and no waiter came and asked if we wanted dessert. These were just some examples. In the end we got fed up, paid the bill and went to Netto to buy some dessert. For the future we really hope the management of the hotel can train their staff so the service lives up to the rest of the hotel’s atmosphere and quality, then it would be a strong four or even five.
