Village Pierre & Vacances Sainte Luce

The positive-this resort is in a beautiful location and offers some great sunsets. Set next to several beaches and walking trails which lead to a little fishing village with some great restaurants. The grounds are well maintained and the resort seems to have a lot of planned activities. Between exercise classes and other performances they offer you a lot to do. Rooms are nice size. We had a seaside suite and there was more than enough room. However…. The beds are insanely uncomfortable. And the water never gets more than luke warm. Overall the food service needs improvement. The buffet is overpriced for the “selection” they offer. The snack bar isn’t anything worth mentioning and the “fancy” restaurant is avg at best. We did have a good meal at the Italian restaurant. But good luck finding something to eat between the hours of 5-7. Everything is closed. Some other observations- no hotel shuttle, no money exchange, no one to help get your bags from reception to third floor room. Overall an avg stay but we won’t be back

This holiday resort has something for everyone, singles, couples and families. The resort comprises of a number of blocks of apartments named after the caribbean islands. Each apartment is air conditioned, has a bathroom (with shower) bedroom, with work desk, and terrace with kitchenette. It is very very clean. The apartment blocks beside the reception and pool can be noisy as there are so many activities going on in or around the pool area. The ones with the best sea views and are quiet are Trinidad and Grenades. I was in Desirade and had garden partial and sea views, it was perfect. The higher up you go the better the view. I was on the 2nd floor. No elevators. The resort has beautiful beaches on either side, so if the pool is too busy you can go there. You can hire a beach chair for 15E a week or 5e a day. There are loads of activities every day, aqua aerobics, archery, volleyball, table tennis and cardio classes. You can also walk or run the beach & forest trail along the coast. There is a water sports activity centre on site (jet skis, paddle boards etc) and a dive centre and a playground & kids clubs. There is a small shop on site where you can buy the basic’s and some clothes and souvenirs. Carrefour Express is a short walk, approx 10 minutes along the beach if you want to get supplies. St Luce is 5/10 minutes in the other direction, again a lovely coastal walk. The area is very local and quiet. St Luce is a small fishing village with some restaurants. If you wish to move and explore a little you need a car. There is a car hire desk at reception or you can hire scooters. A little more expensive than hiring elsewhere but not prohibitively so. There is a bar and three restaurants on site. One does themed buffet nights, another is privately owned and is a sit down service restaurant away from the main area and the thrived is a take-away pizza place. You can cook in your room, with hob & microwave, no oven or BBQ. Spa on site, reserve at pool area. Staff are extremely nice and patient with me a poor french speaker. Most will speak English if you ask. Once I got away from the pool which was too busy for me with families & activities and found the beaches, walks, hammocks in the garden I was very happy! Couldn’t recommend it enough.

L’établissement est vieux , nous avons pris demi pension , le restaurant laisse à désirer , poissons trop cuit et pas assez de spécialité, quand vous venez manger tard pas de renouvellement de plat , personnel très sympathique, bien situé. Dommage que l’établissement n’est pas fermer .

Très bel emplacement,,cependant l’établissement vieillit mal, les chambre et les bâtiments auraient besoin d’un coup de jeune L’accueil est très professionnel et les personnel très agréable La piscine est aurait besoin aussi d’être rénové

Franchement dessus le cite se détruit d'année en année de pire en pire le service lembiance le buffet qui et devenue limite mangable ormi les desserts je déconseille 10 ans qu'on et clients cher vous nous ne reviendron plus la piscine très sal avec odeur d'urine dommage quart la vue et le cadre son magnifique

Une chambre a 160 euros sans pouvoir donner de préférence Nous voulions juste du calme On nous a collé entre le restaurant et la laverie En plus du passage devant notre petite terrasse nous avons eu droit a des travaux de store dans la chambre alors que nous étions présent à cause des précédents qui l’avaient cassé ! Quel déception à ce prix !! Cela be nous serait pas arrivés si Fabienne qui loue sa « maison » : Au Magnifique vue n’avait pas annulé notre réservation 1h avant notre arrivés ! Les gens sont tellement sans scrupules et mal honnêtes !
