Thank you Melanie & Laurant for an incredible two night stay in Saint Emilion. The room, jacuzzi on balcony, incredible dinner and breakfast, gym and indoor pool was amazing with pure tranquillity looking out on the vines. Thank you for arranging our EV bike tour which was a stunning way to view the area and experience wine tasting and history of chateau. We will definitely be back.

We had an incredible stay at Chateau Du Palanquey and Spa. The breakfasts were lovely and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend booking dinner—the food was delicious. Melanie arranged a fantastic wine tour with a driver, visiting three wineries, enjoying a picnic, and touring St. Emilion. This 3-day/2-night stay was perfect for relaxation, nature, wine, and quality time. The gym and sauna were great and used daily. Can’t wait to return!

An amazing boutique hotel with incredible French charm. Run by Melanie and Laurent together with their incredible team they deliver a memorable experience. The Spa was perfect - we had two massages that were brilliant. Their indoor and outdoor pools were both heated with plenty of sunbeds for the limited number of rooms. There is a well equipped gym, hot tub and sauna. Dinner was made by Laurent, an exquisite dish of duck with a scallops starter. The respected our dietary requirements perfectly. Breakfast was served outside in the garden on our last day - a really lovely touch. The room was super with air conditioning, a great bathroom, big bed and a wonderful garden view. Set amongst the vineyards in a tiny village this really is a hidden gem

I would be remiss to describe Château du Palanquey & Spa without first describing the surrounding region: picturesque, radiant, and friendly with access to the most scrumptious of meals and tastiest of wines, no matter your pallet. Château du Palanquey & Spa welcomed us with open arms, providing an intimate experience with mouth watering food and attentive service, while also giving us the space to enjoy our romantic time together. And believe me when I say that the unique rooms, pool and spa, billards, art, and incredible vineyard landscape made for an unforgettable journey. The staff and owners at Château du Palanquey & Spa handled coordinating all of our taxi needs, tours, and dinners, even going so far as to book us e-bikes for a Tour de Emilion, which I have professed to be one of the top experiences of my life (there's simply no better way to tour the region). If you find yourself anywhere near St. Emilion, you simply must book at the Château du Palanquey & Spa as the experience will be as fine as the wine!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely, intimate (only six guest rooms) chateau for three nights. Owners Melanie and Laurant, as well as their entire staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The chateau is a delight, beautifully renovated and filled with sophisticated, eclectic items collected by Laurant from the surrounding area. We had dinner there one night. It was absolutely superb, beautifully presented and prepared. Another night, our last, a rainy Sunday evening, we stayed in. Melanie kindly prepared a luscious plate of charcuterie and fromage with lettuces from the garden and, of course, a fabulous bottle of wine. We biked in the area on road bikes we had rented in Bordeaux and arranged for their delivery.

On a two-week trip from Boston to France, we stayed at Palanquey for 3 nights, and it was by far the highlight our trip! First, the food was incredible. It's been almost a month since we stayed, and we still talk about the breakfast we had every day. We had dinner there one night as well, and that was also amazing. Melanie's hospitality was something we will never forget. She arranged an e-bike tour through the countryside vineyards with an incredible lunch at one of the local chateaus, helped us with taxis, and overall gave us great recommendations on what to do (for our stay there, but also for the rest of our trip through France). I can't recommend this place enough, and we look forward to coming back one day!

We had a wonderful two days at Chateau du Palanquey, which is an oasis of calm and indulgence. Laurent’s food is delicious and Melanie ensures that your every wish is catered for. We loved our visit to Chateau Ad Franco to learn about their history, wine and eat Petra’s lovely lunch. Have a massage from Fabiene - you will not be disappointed. We will be back.

We stayed for two nights. Everything about this place was wonderful. The host, the dinner, the wine and, (of course) the dog. Our room was lovely. They made a delicious home made dinner and their wine is delicious. Vineyards as far as the eye can see. Highly recommended.
