La Bastide des Salins

Serenity in Saint Tropez! Just down the street from the town but feels like many miles away in a quiet area! The staff,, the property, the pool... everything is wonderful and pristine. It is definitely a small boutique hotel, you feel like you have the place to yourself! The La Bastide Beach tote to use while at the property is a cute touch:) The pool was sexy and at most there were 2 other couples at it with us. We spent 3 nights and sure wish we had longer! They gave us a room upgrade- the room was gorgeous! Large clean and even had an upstairs extra bathroom with soaking tub! The bed is giant and so comfy! AC worked great. Bathroom was spacious and modern with nice toiletries. The parking is secure and free. The shuttle service is so convenient and prompt! The breakfast isn't giant but enough. They don't have a restaurant (we knew that) but that was fine for us as we wanted to go into town for dinner and nightlife anyways and the shuttle makes that sooo easy to do! They did have a light lunch menu served by the pool and that was a nice surprise and it was tasty! They opened and kept chilled a bottle of wine that we got from a local winery which was nice as we didn't have to buy wine we could drink our own while lounging by the pool! The staff helped us make reservations for dinners and were so receptive to any questions or requests. The gardens were expansive and they had bicycles to take out which we did one afternoon. We biked to Salins Beach just down the quiet street (also walking distance). Be sure to walk around the corner to get to the larger beach! Our stay was exactly what I was hoping for for our last leg in the French Riviera. I wanted to feel like I was in luxurious Saint Tropez and La Bastide delivered! We would love to return!

This hotel is truly a hidden gem in St Tropez. From the property , to the grounds , to the staff and rooms , everything exceeded expectations. The hotel is only around 8 minutes taxi / shuttle drive to hustle and bustle of St Tropez so affords a sanctuary so you can dip in and dip out. The shuttle service is a real plus and a game changer - the driver was such a nice man and his service was impeccable . I would definitely stay here again and encourage you to do so too.

Un we de répits en couple à saint tropez où on aurait bien aimé se reposer …. Impossible car notre chambre était au rdc . des clients au dessus ont quitte l’hôtel à 7h30 ( c est leur droit) mais l’équipe du ménage qui attaque ds la foulée avec un bruit pas possible ( lits tirés brutalement sur le carrelage et aspirateurs ) bref grasse matinée impossible Si je rajoute qu’il n y avait plus de pain frais dispo au petit déjeuner ce matin ( on m’a proposé des toasts) et que nous avons trouvé un bout de verre ds le lit et des morceaux de verre sous la table de nuit (visiblement un verre avait été cassé par nos prédécesseurs) cela fait bcp Pourtant l’endroit est charmant et l’accueil également J’aurai apprécié un geste sur l’addition en partant vu ces désagréments. Mais non on est à saint tropez…
