The part we stayed in (turquoise throw sheet) was clean and tidy. However we were a group of 6 and booked 2 x 3 bedrooms as per the pics on the website, at 3 separate beds in each room We arrived to find we had been given a room of 4 and a room of 2, far apart. The room of 4 was cramped not enough space to hang clothes so they had to have clothes just sat in suitcases. Only 3 chairs on the balcony. They said have all 6 in that and use the other to store suitcases???? What?? So we split up and 2 of us spent the week isolated from the others, we were there to celebrate a special birthday The 2 bed one had no balcony and a big sign saying we couldn’t open the window as it was alarmed and for firemen to come in through in an emergency! We asked to move rooms but was told fully booked, however the other 2 rooms in our floor were never occupied in all the time we were there. We didn’t eat the food, the pool was nice but the bar was like a morgue. If you want any sort of conversation or a bit of a laugh this is not the place to go. However the area itself is very lovely and we enjoyed st Tropez and st Raphael

First impressions were not good reception tiny run down building with rude unhelpful staff that said the room wouldn’t be ready until 4pm 5 hours away .. room clean but nothing superior about it .. Breakfast food was really good and take out boxes for day trippers , however carnage chipped crockery , coffee machines breaking down children everywhere on bikes and aloud to run riot .. Check out 11am for an extra 40 euros late check out at 1pm Both swimming pools unmaintained first day pool closed as children had pooed in it after that beach n sea for us !!! St ~Raphael 20 mins bus ride away with bus stop outside hotel €3 a couple great value Would I stay here again NO but France is amazing and other than reception girls very friendly

Whe did come from iceland and it was easy one hour drive from the airport in NICE. The hotel staff did welcome us and made our stay pleasant. Great location and the food was very good. The swimming pool are was very nice and relaxing. The whole group (60people) were realy happy with the hotel.

We had a good experience at the SOWELL hotel in St. Raphael. The hotel is located about 10 minutes by car from downtown St. Raphael. The rooms are renovated, spacious, and clean. There is a nice rooftop swimming pool and a good breakfast. Staff was friendly and nice.

Stayed for 4 nights. The staff was very welcoming and helpful to us. Great location with a small beautiful beach across the street. The rooms are clean and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast, brunch and dinner. Loved the rooftop pool. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks, and unfortunately, it completely ruined our vacation. Despite the friendly staff at the hotel and restaurant, almost everything else was a major letdown. The food was terrible, with the same menu repeating every week, leaving us with little variety or quality. The "all-inclusive" formula felt like a scam—many things were not included, and it didn’t live up to the expectations at all. The cleanliness of both the hotel room and the swimming pool was subpar. The pool was particularly dirty, making it unpleasant to use, and our room was far from being properly cleaned. For a place that claims to be a 4-star hotel, the lack of care and upkeep is shocking. Overall, this hotel seems more focused on squeezing money out of tourists rather than investing in their property or providing a quality experience. I wish we had never booked here, as it left us feeling frustrated and disappointed for the entire trip. Definitely not worth the price or the rating it claims.

We had a wonderful stay at Sowell Hotel La Plage. The beachfront location is stunning, and the quality of the food really stood out—each meal was varied, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff for their fantastic work! That said, one small area for improvement would be the seating at the bar. The chairs weren't very comfortable, which made it less inviting to relax there for a drink. Updating the seating would definitely enhance the experience. Overall, it's a lovely hotel with friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommended, despite this minor issue!

EasyJet package holiday from hell. Arrived at 11:30pm to find reception closed with no-one to call. Abandoned outside in the rain until 3am. Eventually after EasyJet and Sowell got over their blame battle, the night watchmen got out of bed to let us in... oh yeah - and then charged us a 300€ room deposit (which was not made clear upon booking)!! Honestly my girlfriend and I have never experienced anything so distressing...we were supposed to be there to relax and instead we were counting down the hours until we could go home. The hotel is disjointed, the pool area doesn't look anything like it does in the photos (there is also very little shade), the breakfast was well below par and that's before I mention our room. The shower was broken, the toilet barely flushed (all night you could hear the cistern attempting to fill up) and our room did not get cleaned AT ALL during our stay. No way does this hotel deserve a 4 star rating. I implore you NOT to book this hotel!

NII SE OS OCURRA VENIR AQUÍ!!!!! SON UNOS ESTAFADORES!!!!! Reservamos por booking una semana en el hotel, al llegar nos pidieron 300€ de fianza por habitación (reservamos 2) y cuando finalizamos las vacaciones nos dijeron que la devolución se hacia automática. Pasados 4 días desde que salimos he llamada 2 veces reclamando mi fianza donde cada día me han dado una respuesta totalmente diferente, donde la última vez me dijeron que el dinero que estaba devuelto que era un problema de mi banco y que me iban a enviar el comprobante de que el dinero ya estaba devuelto pero la chica no sabia prácticamente ingles y le costó un mundo coger mi correo electrónico y cuando iba a colgar se escucho a toda la oficina reírse. (no me ha llegado el comprobante aún)!!!! Estamos en contracto con booking para tratar que nos devuelvan el dinero pero no les cogen el teléfono. ESTAFADORES, NII SE OS OCURRA VENIR AQUÍ!!!!!
