The location is excellent, right next to the Winter Palace Square, a 5-minute walk away. There are many shops downstairs, which is very convenient. In short, it is the most satisfying hotel in this trip to Russia. Although the room price is a little expensive, it is definitely worth the money. It is worth mentioning that this hotel is the only hotel in St. Petersburg that Ctrip has awarded Gold Diamond. There are several hotels with higher room rates, but they do not have the Gold Diamond logo, so I chose this hotel. It seems that Ctrip’s recommendation is still Very reliable.

There are welcome cookies, and the whole room looks like a Parisian room. A bit small but very retro and warm, and convenient for eating nearby. It is very close to the Winter Palace and Kazan Cathedral on Spilled Blood. It is highly recommended. The French-speaking ”doorman” at the door is also very cute and enthusiastic. When you leave, he helps you put your backpack into the car and asks you if you want to go back to Moscow. Just like an old friend, overall I love it and will stay there again in the future!

The location is great! It is very close to the attractions. Basically, every attraction can be reached within ten minutes on foot. Nevsky Prospekt is right next to it. There is a delicious seafood restaurant next to the hotel, with an open kitchen of fresh seafood, which tastes very good. ! Back to the hotel, the breakfast was rich and varied, the waiters were also very nice, and the supplies were timely. The service guys at the door, including other waiters, were very friendly and helped carry luggage and lead the way. The room was very new and clean. We stayed in a room along the street and the windows were very soundproof. The only drawback is that the hot water in the bathroom is a bit unstable and hot and cold. If this can be improved, it will be perfect!

A particularly good hotel, the location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. It is next to the Kazan Cathedral and the Centennial Bookstore. It is also very close to the Church of the Savior of the Blood. The Winter Palace and the St. Isaac Cathedral are within walking distance. You don't want to walk to the door. You can take two bus stops. There are subway stations nearby a few hundred meters. The front desk was warm and friendly and spoke English, and offered help; the room was small but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable; the breakfast buffet was full. Except for the standard room I lived in, it was perfect. Will choose next time I travel.

The location is very good, 5 minutes walk from St. Isaac's Cathedral, 15 minutes by bus from Kazan Cathedral and Cathedral of the Savior on Spilled Blood, 100 meters away from the bus stop, the Neva River is at the door, the room is clean, the service is thoughtful, the front desk provides smooth English service, overall very satisfied

Начну с плюсов: - очень классное местоположение, самый центр, выходите из отеля и вы в эпицентре Питерской туристической жизни! Все очень близко, рукой подать, очень классно для тех, кто хочет погулять-походить. - отличный персонал, учитывали все пожелания, помогали. - у меня был потрясающий вид из окна, прямо во внутренний дверь церкви 🙌🏻 очень приятно было засыпать и просыпаться с таким видом. - уборка, замена полотенец каждый день. НО ! Гигантский минус - это завтрак ! Завтрак за 1100 рублей ! Совсем не стоит того, овощи не свежие, в первый же завтрак помидоры были протухшими, от них, откровенно воняло. Редиска была подмороженной, ананас аналогично/ завешивавший. Испортило все впечатление. Кофе из аппарата, очень не вкусный.Выпечка покупная, сахарная, дешевая. В общем завтрак в отеле не рекомендую. Красная цена такого завтрака 500 рублей ! И то, я бы предпочла позавтракать в другом месте.за эти деньги можно оооочень вкусно покушать, буквально выйдя из отеля, повернуть направо и потом снова направо в сторону русского музея. 5 минут ходьбы и куча мест где можно очень вкусно покушать, разнообразно, все сведавшее. Пару раз кушали в еда маркет. Рекомендую ! В остальном все хорошо

I want to be as gracious as I can, but I think it’s fair to say that this is not a four star hotel. I don’t want to be arrogant, but as someone who has travelled 100 days a year on average for a decade all over the world and understanding STP is a popular international city with two taxes for tourism, the standards expected of four stars should be much higher - obviously. I have seen many many hotels across the world and I’m struggling to understand how this is rated a four star. Let’s get to it and for examples: the shower itself is not a standalone. It’s in the tub and that’s fine but if you’re going to invest in just having a shower in a tub as a hotel of four stars, you should have a good showerhead and this was the poorest showerhead I have had with the weakest water pressure in all of Russia over the last 40 days from coast to coast. Also, upon arrival off the train that arrived at 6 a.m. and with nothing opening up in St. Petersburg until 10 or 11 on average something, nine o’clock if going to the Peterhof, the reception has all the time in the world to educate us on things in the vicinity. They did not even offer to share with us that there are boat tours on the river a mere 150 meters away from the hotel. Strange. Rude. And well, the staff at the reception desk are not unkind or unhelpful but they are also not very trained or willing to assist or value that they are in the hospitality industry. Not a four star worthy effort. Being warmly greeted and informed of river cruise/tour boats outside of the hotel door, would be a good start. Please note that every place that claims to be a four-star and likely every room may having a balcony I suspect, but not every balcony is equal. Some have just enough room to smoke and stand. Others have enough space for a couple to sit on chairs. To further extend expectations for travellers, the price point of this hotel should not just have instant coffee in the room. Lastly, I understand that many people have raved about the breakfast here but it truly it is nothing exceptional whatsoever. You’ll get yo ur fill, surely, as it does offer a selection that one can choose from for this or that, but it is far from anything out of the ordinary, and I think these comments may just be a sell job by friends and family or farmed out and sold to hired agents, as that’s common these days. For example there was one single choice of bread, white bread, a four star hotel with a breakfast to rave about would have at least two choices of bread for toasting. Fruit choice was minimal. At least when i was eating. And at the end of the day, it’s got choices but is completely average in every way. Location is good. And it is certainly a popular hotel at least in the summer on the weekend as it was humming. But I don’t get it. Should be classified a three star all considered. Finally, the linen and pillows are very comfortable and wifi better than many in Russia. And remember to have a bath in a good size tub instead of shower for 20 minutes under low pressure. To summarize, it is not worth its price point or a four star rating. Hope this helps some travellers regarding expectations.

The location of the hotel is roughly between Moscow Railway Station and Palace Square. Its own spa is its characteristic. The hotel is a remodeled old house. Each floor structure is different. It is decorated with a large number of oil paintings and gouache paintings. It has a strong sense of art and is itself It is worth a visit. There is a free self-service coffee bar on the top floor. You can order omelettes for the breakfast buffet (free), but you have to talk to the foreman.

Spacious room and good location There are Chinese restaurants around It is close to most attractions. There is a Vietnamese restaurant and a Chinese restaurant downstairs. The breakfast is delicious and very cost-effective. The special chicken legs are very suitable for the Chinese stomach.

Хороший отель за свои деньги. Удобное расположение у «5 углов». В шаговой доступности метро. Ул. рубинштейна прямо за углом. В номерах чисто, все аккуратно.  Объективный недостаток - окна во двор, но это уж так получилось. В номерах - хороший ремонт, но «не Хилтон». В ванне - насыщенный набор для мытья. Есть фен. Не Валера, а с трубой длинной как у пылесоса.  Персонал очень приветливый.  Я бы поставил крепкие 3 звезды,
