Coconut Inn Pass-a-Grille Beach

My wife, myself and our Havapoo (Finley) puppy spent two wonderful night at this cozy, quaint inn. As others have mentioned, the area took a huge hit during the last two hurricanes. The St. Pete Beach community are very proud people and are working extremely hard to bring this beautiful ‘old Florida’ town back to its original glory. Our room at the Coconut Inn was the King Studio (room 7) located on the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean and well appointed and included everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was older and small but it worked for us. Maggie and Team were super fast at answering our inquiries and provided paramount service during our visit. We had a terrace with two lounge chairs and a small bistro table and chairs. As advertised, the inn provided brand new beach items (chairs, cart, umbrellas, balls, and fishing gear and bikes). We brought our own but certainly would have appreciated using these items if we didn’t. The beautiful beach was truly only a few steps away. So handy! There was construction going on the first day we were there so we avoided going to the pool that day. The second day was quiet (no construction) so we spend an enjoyable afternoon at the pool. One of the highlights for us staying at the Coconut Inn was meeting and chatting with the other wonderful guests during our short stay. Finley made some good friends and managed to score some treats (bacon) from our neighbours. LOL. Overall we had a great (short) time at this charming inn and wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another visit.

The air conditioning was great and the room was clean. The pool was small but perfect for swimming in the morning before it heated up and perfect for swimming in the evening when it was still warm. Coconut Inn is within perfect walking distance to everything you could need. The only issue is that the nearby Publix for groceries just burned down last week (as of 5/23) so you’ll have to go a bit further for groceries or DoorDash, but obviously that’s not Coconut Inn’s fault haha. It felt very sweet, private, and safe. Baxter (the cat) is super cute. They were so wonderful to work with and they helped us out when our flight was moved later and we needed a place to stow our luggage until we could leave. They have a plethora of beach chairs to use that were very comfortable, one of the fishing poles worked so we had fun with that, and the WiFi was fast (never had to think about it, so usually that’s how I know it’s good). Overall a wonderful honeymoon experience, couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, helpful, and welcoming staff or a cleaner cooler room!

We’ve been to Coconut Inn several times and have friends stay based on our recommendation and they never disappoint. Great central location, comfortable and pretty accommodations. The pool is a great option to the beach. It’s clean and warmed as needed in the cooler night months. It has shady and sunny seats around it and is shielded from the wind. But what makes Coconut Inn most special is owner Maggie and her team. They are all friendly and accommodating and create the relaxed atmosphere. And let’s not forget Baxter the resident cat who is adorable.

We love the Coconut Inn! We first stayed at the Coconut Inn last year when in Pass-a-Grille for a wedding, we enjoyed ourselves so much we had to come back! We were so happy to see that the inn survived the hurricanes. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Right across the street from the beach, great pool to hang out in and in walking distance to all the restaurants in Pass-a-Grille. Maggie and her team are super friendly, flexible and run a great inn. We'll be back again next year!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Coconut Inn! I spent a week here splitting the week with my husband and then with my daughter and daughter in law. This was the perfect location. This was our first time in Pass A Grille and we will definitely be back. Our room was located on the 1st floor and had everything we needed. Loved that the Inn had plenty of beach chairs, towels, bikes, etc.. It is perfectly located just steps away from the beach, restaurants and stores. It is a small Inn with top notch service. The owner and staff are always around checking on the guests. Loved having Baxter the resident cat around! I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

Two of us stayed in the Kings Suite for a full week. Bottom line, we would highly recommend the Coconut Inn. Check in was super easy, and the entire staff was exceptionally accommodating, and easy to contact. Our room was pool side, yet very private. The pool was beautifully maintained, and a very comfortable temperature. The AC units did an excellent job, kitchenette was all new, and bed very comfortable. There is a well marked parking area on site, and an attractive garden/courtyard with a large outdoor grill. The Inn is very close to the beach, and provides beach chairs which we used everyday, umbrellas and even wagons to bring all your things to the beach. After seeing pictures of the damage left by the hurricanes that hit Pass-a-Grille last year, I think its amazing that the Inn could open for business so soon. We are grateful that Maggie and the team persevered to make it happen. For us the Coconut Inn provided the quintessential Pass-a-Grille experience.
