WE loved Pengelly, Katharine and Ben have worked very hard to restore the house. It is Victorian and everything is in style. Loved the window seat and the view, you can see for miles. Lovely room, comfortable beds, slept very well. Ben great host. good breakfast. They have their own hens. Fridge in room, a bottle of water cooling and fresh milk. Reading other reviews I agree with them. this is our first visit, but it will not be our Last.

I am so glad we chose to stay here. The farmhouse was beautiful and our room was superb. Spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with a stunning view. Lovely touches like delicious homemade cookies and an excellent choice of teas. Fresh milk in the fridge was also appreciated. We enjoyed the choice of breakfasts in the morning, and I would recommend the bacon and pancakes. Lovely welcoming host. We would hope to visit again, especially as I slept, which is very unusual

A wonderful welcome from Ben after we arrived late he was so understanding. Everything about this B&B is first class such beautiful peaceful surroundings. Breakfast, superb all prepared by Ben using only locally sourced fresh produce. It was a total joy to stay here and I highly recommend this B &B. Thank you for everything

A very warm welcome from Ben on our arrival at Pengelly Farmhouse set the scene for a lovely stay, our room was beautiful, very clean, with everything that you need & more for a wonderful stay. The bed gave us the best night's sleep, very comfortable & peaceful. Breakfasts were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Homemade biscuits were amazing. The outlook was stunning and the peace and quiet made for the most relaxing stay. Quality at every turn, to include Ben's attention to detail. Will definitely return for another stay. Very tastefully and well restored farm house. Dog friendly, Good breakfast and also a good pub not too far away, also dog friendly. A good place to break our journey from a friends in Weymouth to Helford, plus allow us time to visit the Cornish Family Tree Library in Truro.

We stayed for just one night but would have loved to have stayed longer. The property was gorgeous - lovingly restored with lots of character features. The bedroom overlooked the gardens and had a large en-suite, all beautifully presented. We received great service and the most delicious breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
