Bastide Saint-Didier

We have found our new favorite place to stay in Provence! Each year, I visit the Luberon and Vaucluse areas of Provence, seeking out the most special places to stay. I found this jewel, situated perfectly in the center of all the things I love to do while in Provence. The owners, Jasmine and Richard, transformed this large country home into a magical small inn that creates memories forever! The gardens, pool, and outdoor spaces are simply magnificent with all sorts of beautiful flowers and scents that make you wish you could stay all day to enjoy! Once inside, each room is decorated in true Provençal style, with every comfort you could desire. Breakfast is overwhelming with the buffet spread out over their large kitchen island and Richard cooking eggs any way you prefer. The hardest part is knowing there are many things to see in the area nearby and that you must leave their beautiful terrace in order to see them! Best to plan on staying as many days as you can! I've already booked our stay for next year. Many thanks to Jasmine and Richard for all they did to make our visit absolutely perfect in every way! They have created something very special!

Jasmine and Richard are the perfect hosts! Welcoming and charming. We simply enjoyed our stay and our room. Mosquitos nets on the windows allowed us to sleep with the windows open. We had a queen size bed, which we are not so keen on. But that is the only negative point. Breakfast was delicious with homemade marmalades and tartes. The garden is beautiful and the outdoor kitchen a big highlight. We shall return!

If you want the perfect Provence experience you have dreamed of, look no further. This is it!! What more can I say? Location, ambience, hosts, breakfasts, pool and a short walk into a lovely village.

Very difficult to describe how excellent this place really is. For peace and tranquility there is no better. St Didier village is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk. Four restaurants in the village plus two excellent pizza establishments, one a carry out and 1 sit in. Or out. We have been going here for seven years and have and have never been disappointed. Can’t say enough. 5 stars.

Richard & Enxin are super nice, friendly and helpful hosts. Superbly renovated charming old property with very comfortable, large and chic rooms as well as large and beautiful garden with pool. Excellent breakfast. The property is a short walk from charming Saint-Didier village with its restaurants and shops and very well located to particularly explore Luberon and Avignon areas. Highly recommended.

Richard & his wife are the perfect hosts! They make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need down to the smallest detail. They are knowledgeable of the area and suggested perfect day trips for us. The rooms are large and spacious, the grounds are beautiful. and on warm days, there is even a pool you can relax in. It's a short walk to the town center, and centrally located if you want to visit other villages in the surrounding area. I would highly recommend staying here!
