We had a great two night stay, no issues. Nice clean hotel and room. Friendly staff. Great location for Carlisle centre and train station. Breakfast was hot with lots of cold options. Restaurant was nice and clean in the mornings for breakfast, the staff never stop ensuring all is catered for. Would definitely return if staying in Carlisle.

Average Premier inn. I have stayed in awful premier inns (Eastbourne), and good premier inns. This was average and didn't live up to the advertising hype. The variable quality bothers me as I don't know what I will get. I would stay again as it is in a location that is about right for me, but if I found a better place that would get my business.

Comfortable bed and easy check-in. Service was pretty average on check-in and there's not much of a 'reception' (as with most premier inns) but the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was reasonable, all the basics that you'd expect from a budget buffet-style breakfast.

Ideal stop off travelling from Scotland to visit friends. Comfortable and quiet. Everything needed for one night. Staff at breakfast was excellent. Have used here before so knew what to expect nice to see things haven't changed. Couldn't fault anything really.

My husband and I stay here once a year as friends live nearby and they have a party on boxing day. The location is excellent for us - just off the motorway and less than 5 mins to friends. The bed is always so comfortable. The rooms are always clean and the reception staff are always very friendly.

Bed & linens up to normal Premier Inn standard. Rooms were cold and only heated by an olde-fashioned wall heater that took forever to heat the room. Standard wifi was close to useless, probably by design to get you to pay for premium wifi. Was ‘forced’ to reserve a breakfast time, as they were ‘full’. We provided a time but chose to go when we wanted, only to find it was approx 25% full, with lots of empty tables. Seemed pointless forcing people to specific times. I’d probably try one of the other 3 Premier Inn’s around Carlisle next time.

The location is brilliant, we stay in a lot of Premier Inns and this was one of the best locations. Such a shame as we found the staff to be quite rude on reception. Chatting amongst themselves when we checked out. Not asking how our stay was? Which is the norm in Premier Inns. The breakfast was ok but we had to order with the waitress, they said because it was quiet it wasn't worth putting out the breakfast to help yourself. It was fine otherwise.
