Beautiful, restful location. Our Shepherd’s Hut was immaculate and had everything we needed. Bed was really comfy. Great to have normal shower head and rainforest. Kitchen well equipped. Stunning views and a good base to explore the area. Lots of walks. Hosts very friendly, family run and access to the hotel was welcomed. We sampled a breakfast and evening meal, both very good.

We spent one night here and wish we had booked for longer. The hotel is beautifully kept and in a lovely position outside St Agnes with wonderful rural views. The owner gave us a warm welcome and announced that we had been upgraded to the best room in the hotel. Wow! What a treat. The hotel is spotless and our room was huge with fabulous views, a super comfy bed and great bathroom which felt new. We had everything we could have rushed for and more. The bar is pleasant and well- stocked. We didn’t dine there as we had arranged to meet friends elsewhere but the menu looked good and the dining room had a lovely feel. The Shepherds Huts in the grounds look cosy. We fell asleep to the hoot of an owl and woke to tuneful birdsong having had a blissful sleep. Breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. We can’t wait to return to this little gem with a wonderful friendly vibe.

They had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in. Great views locally for sunsets, beach days and long coastal walks. Had the hot tub, it was always running at temperature and was a dream. Very friendly hosts, they advised us on local foods/restaurants/takeaways , places and experiences. welcoming and overall amazing people. 100% recommend this place for couples and families which is also pet friendly.

We have just stayed in one of the “luxury shepherds huts” with hot tub and I have to say it was outstanding! Much better than the pictures indicated, the hut itself was great, the hot tub was perfect and everything was immaculately clean and well presented. So much so, we stayed a 3rd night because we were enjoying ourselves so much! Nigel was amazing upon arrival, showing us to the hut, how to work everything, also giving pub and restaurant recommendations! Unbeknown to me, my partner had arranged for Nigel to decorate the hut with banners and balloons for my birthday, just one example of the extra mile that he delivered! We will definitely come back again and friends have already seen our social media posts and asked for the booking information. Thank you so much for a great weekend!! Neal & Katy

Stayed in one of the Shepherds huts for a long weekend. A warm welcome received from the Owners, Nigel and Jayne. Very informative and always on hand if needed. The hut was incredibly well equipped, with everything needed for a self catered break including WiFi and a high quality finish with added bonus of a hot tub. Great location to explore the local area and village which is beautiful with great beaches, shops and places to eat/drink. The location also provided us with easy access to other local Towns, Truro, St Ives, Padstow, Eden Project to explore.

We spent a very pleasant 5 days here. The team was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was immaculate, set in well-kept gardens with panoramic views. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent, so good that we changed our plans and ended up eating in the hotel every night. An extra bonus was that it was only a 15 minute walk to the coast path.

We have just returned home after the best week. It was so nice to watch the sun set each night and see it rise each morning. We stayed in wheal Kitty such a cosy and clean place to spend time. It's amazing to have a space where are four legged friend could enjoy too. The huts are well equipped with everything you need, and even the little touches of shower gel and shampoo to a kitchen kit, too. Can't wait to visit again.

Perfect in every way we booked Wheal Friendly Shepherd Hut with the hot tub. Spent a great 3 nights relaxing and visiting St Agnes. Will definitely book again, ideal for couples and the hot tub a a real delight. Spotlessly clean throughout and everything you would need regarding utensils etc. Highly recommended
