Hotel Gut Brandlhof

I feel bad about writing a negative review on a place where everyone was nice and we even got a leaving gift on departure. BUT , this is an old, dark and smelly hotel. Right next to a working quarry and main road. The pictures on website can be so deceiving. There is also renovation work going on and the noise was horrendous. The food was quite bad too. We wouldn’t stay again.

Stayed in this hotel while attending a company conference for five nights during September and had a very enjoyable stay. The location is bit remote, the nearest town Saalfelden is few kilometres away, but whoever comes to this hotel with all probability is looking for peace and tranquillity and the remoteness is a plus for them. If we wanted to go to the nearby town the hotel was happy to organise taxis within a short time so the location was not a big issue for me. My room was large with a separate seating area and a balcony with a nice view of the surrounding mountains. Luggage space was ample and the bathroom fairly large and modern. The room also had flat screen TV, free wifi connection, bathrobe and a safe but like most European hotel did not have tea/coffee facilities or bedroom slippers. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was very clean and functional. All the staff I came in contact with was polite and helpful. We had all our breakfast and a few lunch and dinner at the hotel and I have to say that I was very impressed with the food quality and service. All the food I tested were of very good quality and testy. Although with all probability I will not go back to this hotel during my holidays in the future as I could not find anything very interesting nearby but I will be quite happy to attend a conference again in this place.

The food was amazing!I have only one thing that I could complain about: the playground could need an improvement!You have families at your hotel, so you can build a bigger playground for the little ones! Everything else was exceptional.The highlight was the dinner

Had a terrible disappointed experience. The reception was extremely arrogant and talked down on us. Charging these prices and having that kind of service just goes against every fiber of my body. Please train your staff to maybe value the customer rather than treating us like nothing. Never gave a 1-Star review in the past but guess there is a first for everything.

Hier passt alles! Der Check-in verlief so schnell wie selten. Es wurde mehr Zeit damit verbracht, meinen Hund ausgiebig zu begrüßen, als der Check-in ansich. Was natürlich sehr schön war. Hunde sind hier wirklich willkommen und werden aufmerksam verwöhnt. Angefangen mit Begrüßungsleckerli, Näpfe und Hundebett auf dem Zimmer bis hin zu Wassernäpfen, welche schnell in Bar und Restaurant gebracht werden. Im Restaurant gibt es einen eigenen Hundebereich zu jeder Tageszeit. Top! Aber auch der Mensch wird hier verwöhnt. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Meine Junior Suite im 3 Stock war recht dunkel und ein Umzug in eine andere war schnell erledigt. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffett lässt keine Wünsche offen. Aber auch die Verpflegung auf der Tagung war sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas außerhalb von Saalfelden, bietet aber einen schönen Wellness Bereich sowie einige Gassiwege. Wenn man ein Manko erwähnen müsste, wäre es ein fehlender Kühlschrank auf den Zimmern. Aber damit kann man leben. Parkplätze sind (teilweise kostenfrei) ausreichend vorhanden. Hier kann man bedenkenlos jederzeit - mit Hund - anreisen! Ein großes Lob an das Team des Gut Brandlhof!

Leider fing es schon damit an, dass die Matratze unglaublich weich war, so dass an Schlaf in der ersten Nacht nicht zu denken war. Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent, die umherschwirrenden Chefs= Trachtenanzugträger leider das Gegenteil, grüßen nicht, beachten Gäste nicht. Schätze mal, wenn die Promis wie Fußballprofis aus Leverkusen und Liverpool sowie heuer im Sommer Ronaldo antanzen, werden die Chefs sich anders benehmen.
