Dunav Plaza Hotel

Great location with parking. Friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed here for one night as part of an organised tour in August 2022. We arrived at the hotel during the early evening and it’s fairly easy to find as it’s right in the middle of the city, facing onto the main square. Check in was okay but not the quickest. We left our passports with the staff whilst we went up to the room before heading out again and some people’s still weren’t ready 10 minutes later. They also have only 1 small lift for the hotel so be prepared to wait or take the stairs. Our twin room on the third floor was okay if a little compact but fine for one night. We had a complementary bottle of water included with the room. The beds were comfy and the room also had a flatscreen TV, air con (which worked well), and a chair in the corner. We had a view of the square over the trees outside which was nice. The bathroom was also compact but okay. It had a hair dryer plus shower, toilet and sink. The shower drained into the centre of the floor so the floor did get a bit wet as the drain wasn’t that quick to get rid of the water. The towels were clean and thick but there was no hook to hang clothes up so we had to use the towel rail. The toilet paper was also not the best ply. The wifi was quick and had good signal range. Breakfast was good - a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, fruit etc, as well as warm eggs, bacon and sausage, bread and pastries. The juices were good and so was the coffee. Location-wise you couldn’t be closer to the city centre. Overall, a good stay for one night but some of the niggles above might grate more over a longer stay.

The hotel is quite oldish, but the rooms are large and clean. It is a convenient place to stay in Ruse, in the center of the city. The park in front of the hotel offers a nice view. The breakfast is regular, nothing special but quite varried. They have free parking for the guests.

Ho soggiornato due settimane in questo hotel e sono rimasto soddisfatto. Appena ristrutturato,pulito,comodo perché nella piazza principale di Ruse,ben servito,buon ristorante con vasta scelta di piatti. Da consigliare per chi è di passaggio o per chi verrà per lavoro

Самый большой плюс - это расположение отеля! Наши окны выходили на главную площадь, которая сама по себе очаровательна, залита солнцем, наполнена атмосферой ну чуть ли не Парижа))) Номера очень маленькие, как в старых отелях в центре Берлина! Очень все чисто, уютно. У нас был номер с классической мебелью. Наши друзья жили в номере с современной. Красивый ресторан, очень не торопливые официанты, но это все как то так с достоинством, что хочется растворить в этой атмосфере и наслаждаться неспешность этого города!
