Hotel Rheinstein

I wish I could give 0 stars for the „Service“ we received. I honestly hate writing reviews like this and never felt like I had to do so ever before. But the „treatment“ we received by the male manager (bold and smaller statue) and a small lady (with short black hair with very broken german) was more than shocking and left me utterly distressed and in tears. This is not quite what you want on your HOLIDAY and I wouldn’t wish this experience to anyone else. Without getting into too much detail, they lied to us for their own benefit of keeping €20 of the car park we never used as we accidentally parked at the neighbours hotel carpark which they were aware of and got us nearly in mature trouble but they decided not to tell us. Proven is this by the man who is working in the car park where we accidentally parked as he said he spoke to the our manager 2 days ago already and the manager assured him that he would let us know that we have to move the car WHICH HE NEVER DID. They seen us in the hotel on multiple occasions and had all of my contact details + the car registration. On top of all of this I had to deal with the insane rudeness of the lady with the short black hair for hours till she gave me the money for the parking we NEVER actually used with the words „This was your own fault.“ „We had no way of contacting you“ LIES LIES AND MORE LIES. Rather than this Hotel, avoid those people. And to you the manager who decided to hide rather than facing the conversation we deserved and the small lady thank you for ruining our second morning which should‘ve been the end to a LOVELY holiday. P.S. The Breakfast we got the first morning prepared by the male manager looked nowhere near as good as the one on the second morning prepared by a lovely lady with middle long darker hair.

We ´ve got a room at the end of the hotel, with a horrible view towards an indoor garden and parking, from where you could only see some cars, the walls and windows from other buildings and even worse, the garbage. We´ve announced it was my birthday, but all we´ve got as present it was that view. More, not even the personal internet wasn´t working there. Wi-fi you can get only at the reception and on the hotel´s terrace. The hair dryer was very dirty, old and it wasn´t functional. The furniture it´s pretty old too. For the parking we´ve paid 10 euro/day but it´s at about 7-9 minutes walking from the hotel. Breakfast was good for the value. You get coffee, orange and cherry juice, water, milk, cereals, fruits, cheese, salami, eggs, fresh bread.

Absolute Katastrophe! Schlechter Service, dreckige Zimmer, Schädlinge (Bettwanzen) im Bett. Sind nach 30 Minuten im Zimmer um 01:30 Uhr ausgecheckt. Kein Interesse vom Personal die Situation zu klären. Die Reaktion des Personals auf die Situation mit den Bettwanzen hat deutlich gezeigt, dass es kein unbekanntes Thema war.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr hilfsbereitem Personal und einer ausgesprochen freundlichen Chefin. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse -einfacht toll! Uns wurden zwei Zimmer zur Auswahl geboten und wir haben uns für Zimmer 10 entschieden, obwohl dies in anderen Bewertunge negativ dargestellt wurde. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Stuckdecke, gewagten jedoch gelungenen Tapetten und schönem Neu-Alt-Mix.
