What a treat to stay here! Host are super friendly and charming. Beautiful, roomy, charming room in a beautifully maintained mansion. Wonderful breakfast included, grounds like a secluded resort including swimming pool. If traveling with kids get the family room, they'll get their own separate space. Almost forgot to mention it's close to D-Day beaches a few minutes away.

we had a lovely time with Cecile and family. The house and its grounds are beautiful, quiet and with a lovely warm pool and play area for the kids. You will need a car to get about, although the peaceful location was why we picked here, and there are lots of picturesque villages and attractions within easy reach. Cecile and her husband are the best hosts I've ever met, going above and beyond for us given our complete hopelessness in knowing any french, helping us to learn some of the language as well as making every effort to ensure our stay was exceptional. Thoroughly recommend.

Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. We drove to Mont St.Michel, Bayeux etc from here. You really do need a vehicle to get around. A few restaurants are 10 mins or so away in the local villages . A delightful breakfast was provided by our host Cecilia who was so welcoming, informative and patient with my efforts to speak French. Breakfast consisted of the most amazing pastries I've ever had (and I've had quite a few), bread, jam, cheese, yoghurt - all produced a stones throw away. The room was lovely, extremely clean (and I am a bit OCD) and our daughter had a little separate bedroom next to ours which I didn't realise when I booked it but it was great and she loved it (and us!). No TV but that was fine for me (I think my other half missed it though) and the bed and pillows very comfortable. There was lots of information provided on local restaurants and places to go/things to do. If we were to visit again, we would consider staying in a cottage where we would be able to rustle up some dinner. NB. I think there are some old photos of this chateau on some of the holiday websites - ignore them. The room we had was a delight and modernised where necessary (?The Angels) - shower, sink and cabinet etc but still retaining the stunning original features , e.g doors and floors.

What a great property. Highly recommend. Spacious and the hosts were so nice and accommodating even when we didn't understand the rules of the pool. Breakfast was fantastic.
