55 km to the east from Rovaniemi city center, lake Vanttausjärvi 110 m (length 5.8 km, width 2.5 km), shallow beach, sand bottom, beach is suitable for children, campfire site on the beach, lawn yard. Rowing boat available for rent from the owner (100 e/booking, life jackets included). An electric outboard motor (50 e/booking) and a 4 hp outboard motor (100 e/booking) can also be rented from the owner.

Stone-built house, built in 1964, completely renovated and modernized in 2019. Living room (possibility for an extra bed 90 x 200 cm on the sofa), kitchen. 2 bedrooms with two beds (widths 120 cm and 90 cm), third bedroom with 2 x 90 cm wide beds.

The living room has an electric fireplace, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. An air source heat pump can also be used for cooling in summer.

For an extra charge, the atmospheric barrel sauna on the beach can be used during your stay for. In the courtyard of Ainola, by the shoreline, there is a 22 m² Arctic log cabin (kota) where it’s pleasant to spend time together by a fire and BBQ.

The owner's traditional farm within 100 meter distance. The farm has therapy sheep and chickens that move freely in the yard. Because of this, guests' pets are not allowed.

Lake Vanttausjärvi is well suited for fishing customers. The lake has fish species like pike, whitefish, vendace, etc. The launching site for small boats is on the shore of the cabin (waterfront can be accessed with trailer), for larger boats, the launching site is 500 m away. Public boat ramp and lean-to shelter 3.5 km.
