The hotel has recently changed owners, so we were a bit apprehensive. Actually it turns out to be a really nice place to stay, clean, comfortable beds, nice hot shower and a very good restaurant. The only negative for me (in the annex room) was the terrible 1972 French colour scheme of purple and acid green. such a shame because otherwise it’s a really nice place to stay. They’ve made the same mistake in the restaurant and was a very old country house, with plastic white marble tables with gold legs and gold and beige chairs. Why they didn’t just go and get antique furniture. I just don’t know. It’s cheaper and much more in keeping with the building. Restaurant was very good, very reasonably priced, and delicious evening meal.. decor though continues in the 1972 French vibe we had a picture of Salvador Dali staring at us throughout breakfast! Staff were very young and clearly inexperienced asked to dry white wine with dinner got something very sweet, at breakfast they brought out about six croissants at a time that quickly disappeared and had to be constantly replenished. They try their best and they’re very very nice people..

Arrived in a very hot sweaty state by bicycle. Warmly welcomed and shown to our room, which along with all the other rooms are separate from the main "manor-house" building. Comfortable bed, decent bathroom and aircon, which was very much needed. Hotel is situated in nice grounds in a quiet location on the outskirts of the small hill top town of Rouffignac. Nice pool which was also very much appreciated. Ate in the restaurant which is obviously very popular with not just hotel guests. Good breakfast in morning after a decent nights sleep. Would happily stay again.

Amazing quality food and very friendly service. Sadly the weather was terrible so it was indoor dining for us which was disappointing but the quality of the food was exceptional and lifted our spirits! The service was brilliant and friendly and we will definitely return.

A wonderful dinning experience here in a stunning location. All staff very welcoming and helpful. Helped with menu choices and adjustments for dietary requirements. The food was stunning and service excellent in a wonderful environment. Great value for money. We have already booked to return this week. Totally recommend.

Wonderful place on the edge of a pretty little village. The hotel is very comfortable with spacious rooms and a very calm, quiet atmosphere. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, private and peaceful, a wall has been built along the road so that the only noise is the sound of nature. The breakfast was good and plentiful and despite not eating an evening meal, I did notice that the menu had plenty of choice. The area is very French with a local market in the village every Sunday morning, and hundreds of tourist attractions within a few miles, some of them are very important historic places.

Très bon séjour en famille, un grand merci pour l’accueil nous reviendrons! le restaurant était super également, pensez a bien réserver, nous avons eu de la chance et nous avons pu avoir la formule brasero du vendredi soir qui était très sympa. Chambre spacieuse avec une très belle vue sur le parc, nos enfants ont bien apprécié les jeux.

Entre amis pour un repas dans ce restaurant nous avons tous étaient conquis. L'espace lounge est très agréable pour un moment de détente à l apéritif. Le repas était excellent avec des plats raffinés, des saveurs inédites et des classiques revisités à la perfection. De plus, le personnel est au petit soin est très agréable et souriant. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Félicitations aux chefs et aux serveurs.
