也是很美的酒店，服務很好，湖邊黑天鵝優雅又美麗。酒店的餐廳可以去吃吃看，燒的不錯的。早飯也很棒。

這個酒店環境好，衞生不錯。老闆是華人，所以細節考慮周到。早上的班尼克三文魚好吃。離鎮中心，5分鐘車程，可以代叫的士，20新幣車費。唯一的問題是，房價很高，相對鎮上的其他酒店來説。不差錢可以考慮，體驗感好。

環境優美，裝潢設計風格頗有格調。早餐很好吃。值得信賴。

The highlight of our stay in Rotorua was the Black Swan. Clean, luxurious, beautiful location. Friendly staff. We sat on the balcony of our room and watched the steam from the geysers across the lake fill the quiet morning air with steam. A magical moment. The gardens are perfect and the setting is very peaceful and serene. A special mention goes to Jason, the day manager. He is friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Accommodations are a five, but they do not have sufficient parking for all guests, which could become a huge problem and was quite a hassle for us. So, overall, a three. Also, be aware that there is a huge fly problem (not biting, but annoying swarms), especially at night.

Nice little hotel but about 12 mins outside rotorua. The rooms are very clean and nice and overlook the lake. The driveway is challenging - it’s at a long driveway with a steep angle, and only one car can go up / down at a time. If you meet an oncoming car, you need to back up on the steep angle / tight driveway. The parking is also very challenging and tight once you get down. At night you can also hear people walking on the floor above, as the rooms are below the restaurant.

The Black Swan is a beautiful property. We felt very welcomed and at home. We loved our room and all the extra amenities. The breakfast was exceptional! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We had been planning our trip to New Zealand for a LONG time. We really wanted to do go to Hobbiton and the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. Instead of driving back to Auckland, we decided to spend a night somewhere in Rotorua. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on Rotorua and the area but just didn’t see anywhere I wanted to stay. I stumbled onto the Black Swan via TripAdvisor. We booked a Swan King Bed and Breakfast for one night. It was raining hard when we arrived, and I want to point out the driveway down to the lake is easy to miss! Also, the driveway down to the lake is steep, narrow, and parking at the bottom is tight. We quickly jumped out of the car and ran to the lobby. Note: we didn’t catch any sulfur aroma on this side of Lake Rotorua. The entry way has a nice fountain with rooms to the right and then into the lobby. We were greeted by Iri who took amazing care of us during our short but awesome stay! He showed us to room number one (garden room in the courtyard entrance). Our room had a comfy king bed, sofa, coffee and tea, fridge, and huge bathroom. The room is not too small, but the floor did creak a little. We found the bathroom to be great! The bathroom has two sinks, very nice bath products and a heated towel rack!!! We were dead tired and crashed nappy nap out cold for a couple hours. When we woke up it had stopped raining, so we headed out to check out the property. I have NEVER stayed anywhere like the Black Swan! I mean we have stayed at a few Bed and Breakfasts before but the Black Swan took our breath away. We totally loved the gardens, the swans on the lake, and the hot tubs were super nice! We didn’t try the pool because it was 52 degrees out – I think it may have been bit chilly. Walking around the gardens and along the lake at sunset was so peaceful! Our room did have a nice porch with sitting area and fireplace which I didn’t use mostly because it started raining again. We had dinner upstairs in the Black Swan Restaurant. We were seated at a table for two in the corner facing Lake Rotorua. We were pampered at dinner and the food was excellent! I had the stuffed pork loin and absolutely inhaled it! So beautifully presented and delicious! We also had breakfast there the next morning and had a perfect eggs benedict! On our last morning, I asked about guest laundry and Iri actually took the laundry bag from my hand and said, “I got this. Go enjoy your breakfast”. He said go on up to breakfast and I will take care of the laundry. I have literally had staff at hotels look down their noses at me because I didn’t want to pay their exorbitant laundry fees and God forbid do it myself! Thank you so much Iri! Let me say that the Black Swan was not my first choice for our stay in Rotorua. However, we fell in love with this property! If you are looking for a luxurious boutique hotel with friendly staff, exceptional service, amazing food experiences, great rooms, beds, location. BOOK THE BLACK SWAN RIGHT NOW! (CAP
