Old style German hotel in a magical medieval village. We were able to carefully drive to the front of the hotel and unload, and the lovely hotel attendant directed us personally to a parking spot behind the hotel since we had a wheelchair. The hotel has an elevator. Our room for 3 was a good size with charmingly painted furniture and the bathroom was spacious. Shower over the bath which was not ideal for a wheelchair user but we made do. We had a view out the back of the hotel and could see it snowing. Breakfast was lovely and we also had dinner at the hotel one night and my meal was delicious. All the staff we encountered from dining and from front desk were genuinely nice and not just doing a job. Location can’t be beat. You are right in the old town. Yes it’s a little old fashioned at the hotel but isn’t that what you want in a medieval village? It’s part of the experience.

Great place to stay. The people were friendly and the rooms were adorable with the hand painted furniture. Being pet friendly was a bonus. The mattresses weren’t bad but not great either. I still slept pretty good so….That’s my only complaint.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel! The room was exactly what I expected and reserved. The description of the property was accurate. The location is hard to get to by car, but there was construction beyond the hotel’s control. The restaurant was quaint and the food delicious for both dinner and breakfast. We visited at Easter, and there were subtle decorations and little touches like having candy for kids. What makes this hotel truly special though is the management and employees. They were all so welcoming, flexible, informative, and genuinely happy to host us. If we visit again, I would happily return!

Lovely original hotel in the heart of the old town, perfect location if you want to visit the Christmas markets. Rooms are a little quirky, but comfortable and very clean. Staff are friendly and English is not a problem, and the food In the restaurant was great.

スモールダブルルームに宿泊しました。スモールという名前の部屋ですが、十分広さはあります。マルクト広場からもすぐ近くです。 夕食はホテルのレストランを予約しました。前菜のFarmer’s platterはハムやチーズの盛り合わせで、量が多そうだったのでシェアしてよいか聞くと小皿を用意してくれました。また、地元料理である子豚のローストはボリュームもあり、肉は柔らかくとてもおいしかったです。朝食はバイキングで、ホットミールはベーコンとスクランブルエッグだけですが、コールドミールはハムやチーズなど種類は多くありました。 スタッフは皆さんフレンドリーで、女主人がいろいろと世話を焼いてくれて快適に過ごせました。

Heel leuk hotel op een unieke ligging binnen de muren van de middeleeuwse stad. Pittoreske kamers maar met alle comfort en zeer netjes. Mooi restaurant met terras, kleine seizoensgebonden kaart maar zeer lekkere keuken. Wij hebben alle gerechten geprobeerd! Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars met een top-team dat altijd voor je klaar staat.
