Camping and Bungalow Salata

Never again. We stayed in the smallest bungalow. Run down and terrible layout, had a few issues with our stay and the attitude from manager is totally unprofessional. Toilet is in a ridiculous place with no grab handles we had to crawl off because it was almost impossible to stand up. Noise was excessive with builders.

So Camping SALATA, Roses, Spain. Booked a super pitch with Electric, water and waste and extra room, for my brand new £100,000 motorhome. Drove from Stoke and stayed overnight two nights on the way, looking forward to a long 2 day stay with plans that if I liked the site we would stay 3 weeks on our return as we do every year in Roses. Never stayed there before but it was recommended by “Funsters” on the Motorhome fun website, wait until 96,000 members of that site finds out what a paid up member went through.. Anyway tired, hungry, drove out after 425 miles from St Eloy Les Mines in France, we arrived, first impressions was good, a nice tidy reception, three ladies serving customers. Got seen to straight away, and happily left to find our pitch. Manoeuvred my van to the little street and found the pitch, theres a French vehicle parked up and the French couple were conversing with friends.. they answered my call of “hello” “ hello” and in French told me they were not moving. Immediately I knew then, they knew they were in the wrong. So I went to the reception, who realised they had made a mistake and that afternoon had given my booked pitch to the French couple because they wanted to be with friends, (and I found out as I was leaving that they had then charged them the extra for my super pitch!) So the receptionist went to see the French couple who flatly refused to move, so I was told there was nothing the site owner could do, except put me on a lesser pitch, their last available because they were full, a pitch that was too small for my MoHo and was muddy, full of litter in the trees, and mosquito ridden and had a line of white ant powder all around the perimeter. As it was now too late to find another site we agreed to stay there and leave in the morning to find another site, it was better than nowhere, with a promise of a refund for the one night and part refund for the different pitch. Had this been another site, the manager would have told the French man that his original pitch was still available, that he will be refunded the extra he paid but he must move as the pitch had been paid for in advance and that it was an error to sell it on to him like they did, but that he must move. The error was not mine or of my making and that if he did not move, he would have to leave the site without a refund. As is the rules of any site. One has to remember, we had driven all the way from England, and had booked in advance. The interloper had booked a lesser pitch and when they got there decided they wanted better and to be with Friends. We had no choice but to park up on a pitch not fit for purpose, thar Camping SALATA was in breach of contract and has spoilt my stay at Roses. It is my strong advise NOT to go to this campsite ever, the business can not be trusted to fulfil their legal obligations, you may travel a thousand miles or more to find you have no accommodation, I expect a full refund, I will not get it, I will be very surprised if I get any

WE STAYED 2 WEEKS, 5 times I have been here but this year everything is bad! Pool dirty, toilets are dirty, İNTERNET NEVER WORKED!! 10 times I went to reception and problem has never sort it out.they always says we gonna make it beter , we gonna make it beter but nothing.. btw I was just under the WİFİ..Every 2 minutes problem with internet.. I come there for holiday and some work but never gonna be Back..

Déçu de notre réservation,avec différents emplacements souhaité qui n’a pas été pris en compte pour finir au fond du camping avec les poubelles et benne à verres très bruyants, plus d’emplacement disponible pourtant le camping et loin d’être saturé . Pas très sympa 👎camping à fuire…

camping très bruyants des espagnols qui parlent très très fort ignorant les gens autours, accueil réception horrible, réceptionniste très imbues de sa personne qui visiblement n'aime pas les français arriver c'est vrai avant 12h (11h30) on c'est fait jeté comme des mal propres nous obligeant à attendre dehors midi. étant garer juste devant l'entrée du camping j'ai vu un camping car belge arriver à 11h45 et qui lui à pu s'enregistrer. à 12h je rentre et je lui fait remarqué cela mais n'a trouvé aucune raison ni excuse!!!!!!! la direction devrait bien mieux sélectionner son petit personnel car cette fille n'a rien à faire face au client nous n'y reviendrons plus.

Super camping à Roses, bon accueil, mobilhome Garbi2 très propre,moderne et belle terrasse. Lits faits à l'arrivée, serviettes de bain et linge de lit inclus. Cafetière nespresso à capsule, kit de ménage de bienvenue avec 1 torchon, 1 éponge, petit liquide vaisselle, sac poubelle, petit produit ménage,1 microfibre. Laverie dans le camping, 2 tables de ping pong, terrain de foot en terre, jeux pour les enfants, superette, restaurant. Nous n'avons pas testé la piscine car fermée en hiver ni le spa. Restaurant cosy et bon dîner. Personnel très souriant, sympa, accueil même en italien à la réception. Emplacement camping car en terre rouge, ils sont un peu serrés, pas d'espace en herbe pour sortir table et chaises, sanitaires neufs. Parking voiture pas à côté du mobilhome. Plage à 5minutes à pied. Lidl et carrefour market pas loin. A pied superette 365 ouverte même hors saison. A refaire car une belle expérience sur place
