Villa Makambu

Everything you’ve read about this property is accurate. We were 14 and there was more than enough room. The property is exceptionally beautiful and the views are stunning. We did not have problems with mosquitos and I slept without the netting. The bedding was good and having three kitchens worked out well for getting everyone fed. Anthea is excellent as a house manager. She was unfailingly helpful and positive. We will miss her. Darryl did a great job driving us and being our guide. We would highly suggest having Anselma cook for you at least one night. The multiple charcoal grills helped us provide communal dinners when we were not out and about. There were a couple of small problems. A sink in one of the bathrooms was out of ordered one faucet in a kitchen was loose but really minor stuff. My brother and I have brought our families on many amazing vacations from Mykonos to Tobago but the consensus was this was the “best vacation ever."
