Aire de Ronda is a tiny little gem situated in a renovated 16/17th century building. Located on the fringe of the old town it has only a few very well appointed rooms. The real treasure here is the owner. Marivi knows Ronda inside out and has loads of great advice about local attractions and dining options. If you are travelling further into Andalusia let her know. Her knowledge is not limited to Ronda. Breakfast is a highlight, delicious and plenty of it. If you are staying in Ronda, stay here.

Marvi is a terrific host . She spent a lot of time with us at check with sightseeing recommendations and was very helpful with dinner plans. Room was excellent with comfortable bed and great bathroom. Living room is a plus especially with real wood burning stove. Breakfast was a bonus with the best scrambled eggs. Too bad about the rainy weather but Marvi brightened it up !

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been happier. Our host went out of her way to make us comfortable and answer any questions we had. The location is walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We didn’t have a meal at the hotel but we loved our room and it was one of the nicest we have enjoyed in Spain. I would highly recommend a stay here.

This is an historic house (16th century) that has been elegantly modernized on the inside while remaining true to its place and time. One of the most comfortable accommodations ever. And a wonderful breakfast. Stay a few days to get the full Ronda experience.

From the moment we walked through the solid traditional entrance door to be met by Marivi, the owner, we absolutely loved the place. This is a superb small boutique hotel created by beautifully restoring an old town house in a quiet area close to the main attractions of Ronda. Marivi had lived in the UK for several years where she studied art. Both of these facts contribute to the experience. No language problem for English speakers and her artistry was evident in how the building was restored and in her wonderful attention to detail evident in all aspects of the stay. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented and we just loved it. Rooms were extremely comfortable and have beautify en-suite bathrooms. Marivi herself could not have been more helpful and was happy to give recommendations which we took full advantage of. We thoroughly recommend Aire de Ronda for anyone visiting Ronda.

This is a very small hotel in Ronda. We had the room on the top floor that was very large and comfortable with a kitchenette and an outside patio. One evening we had a picnic for our dinner on the patio, and the owner was very helpful in providing the utensils and wine for the occasion. Each morning the owner provided a delicious cooked breakfast. We particularly recommend our room as it was very spacious and secluded.

A lovely small hotel in a carefully renovated old town house a short walk from all the main sights. Really clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. We only stayed one night as we were passing through Ronda, but with great walking routes in the surrounding countryside, it is very tempting to return for a longer stay. Thanks Marivi.

A fabulous find. Marivi is a marvellous host who has created a seriously comfortable boutique hotel. Our room, the Silver Room, was extremely comfortable and the bathroom is wonderfully spacious, all spotlessly clean. Breakfast is superb with the most delicious fresh fruit and yoghurt. It was a perfect base for our 3 day stay exploring Ronda and when the heavens open which they did when we were there there is a cosy wood burner in the sitting room to read a book beside! She has brilliant knowledge on the local area which we tapped into. We can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

When you book a hotel you read the reviews and you never quite know whether to believe the good ones…. But I can honestly tell you that Marivi went beyond what you would expect from a host. We had a 4 night stay in Ronda and I had also booked a cookery lesson for my husband as a treat and the experience was a highlight of the holiday. Cooking in Marivi’s kitchen then eating the most amazing local produce will remain with us. Sitting next to the wood burning stove on a cool evening in March was wonderful. The hotel is so well placed for seeing all the sights. We had a wonderful days cycle ride on EBikes and also a fabulous walk out into the countryside. I don’t think my words do it justice… oh yes make sure you ask for scrambled eggs and also Marivi’s porridge will surprise you …
