Location is good. But be prepared that you might have noisy neighbors and dirty bathrooms if you don’t have a private one.

MAI PIÙ. TERRIBILE ESPERIENZA. Avevo prenotato per 4 notti, 2 persone, camera doppia STANDARD con bagno privato. Arriviamo in struttura, ci “accoglie” una ragazza che non parlava bene l’italiano, ci fa pagare 40 euro di tassa di soggiorno quando in realtà c’era scritto al momento della prenotazione: €32,00, ma ok…ora arriva il bello, ci porta nella camera e ci dice che i bagni in comune erano due (fuori dalla nostra stanza e utilizzati anche da altre persone. MA io avevo prenotato per camera con bagno PRIVATO. Nella mia prenotazione e nei dati del check-in non c’era l’ombra della prenotazione con bagno in comune; faccio a vedere tutto, screen, email, prenotazione ecc ma nulla, mi fa parlare anche con la manager ma negano tutto, chiedo il rimborso e mi dicono che non è possibile averlo. Inoltre mi dicono che tutto ciò che era un problema dell’agenzia da cui avevo prenotato, ma soprattutto mi dicono che il bagno privato sarebbe stato confermato in base alla disponibilità, ma ovviamente anche questo tutto falso, perché nella nostra camera c’era una porta, probabilmente il bagno provato) chiuso a chiave, quindi a prescindere, il bagno privato era DISPONIBILE mi rassegno e vado in camera, camera completamente piena di polvere, frigo che puzzava, “balcone” completamente nero dalla sporcizia, le prese affianco al letto risultano sotto e non era possibile caricare il telefono, serratura rotta della camera, lampadina del comò presente solo in uno, pavimento sporco, insomma PULIZIA INESISTENTE. Poi ho pensato “vabbè magari i bagni sono messi in condizioni migliori e non mi lamento se ho il bagno in comune”, quindi prendo coraggio e vado nei bagno comuni per vedere un po’…entro…una puzza da soffocarsi di scarico, feci e di ambiente sporco, bagno in CONDIZIONI PESSIME, bagno ILLEGALE (allego foto), box doccia rotto che nemmeno si chiudeva, sapone per le mani inesistente se non quello per lavare i piatti…wc sporco, lavandino e mensola improponibile, asciugacapelli sporchissimo e ingiallito, porte rovinate che nemmeno si chiudevano bene, ho dovuto comprare uno spray igienizzante e pulire il wc e sedermi in una tavoletta più “pulita”, rubinetteria completamente ricoperta dal calcare, non esistevano asciugamani… Secondo giorno: pavimento ancora sporco, letto non fatto, praticamente NON sono entrati in stanza per pulire e farci il letto, aspetto al terzo giorno, esco di casa e torno verso le 16, letto uguale a come era quando sono sono uscita, pavimento ancora più sporco e ancora con i miei capelli di 3 giorni (foto allegata) comunque, pulizia pari a zero. Decido di cambiare hotel per le altre 2 notti rimanenti, non era accettabile dormire in quella topaia, vado in hotel a TRE STELLE dove il mio soggiorno cambia completamente, ho vissuto nel pulito, nel profumato e in una stanza sempre pulita e sempre sistemata. Chiamo quindi il B&B gialel per comunicare che volevo almeno il rimborso della tassa di soggiorno (almeno le due notti, anche se avrei dovuto chiedere TUTTO perché non ho avuto nessun tipo di servizio in camera), racconto comunque di quanto accaduto, la sporcizia ecc, sapete cosa hanno fatto? Nemmeno il tempo di parlare che mi hanno sbattuto il telefono in faccia e hanno bloccato il numero quindi impossibile rintracciarli. Ho contattato ovviamente trip.com che ha contatto successivamente loro ma non hanno accettato nemmeno metà del soggiorno. ESPERIENZA TERRIBILE, SE NON VOLTE PASSARE UN SOGGIORNO DA INCUBO, STATE ALLA LARGA DA QUESTO AFFITTACAMERE, VI FOTTONO I SOLDI, VI FANNO PAGARE LA TASSA DI SOGGIORNO E NEMMENO PULISCONO UN MINIMO DI BRICIOLE, NEMMENO ENTRANO. DICO QUESTO PER AVVISARE PIÙ PERSONE POSSIBILI PERCHÉ VERAMENTE È UN POSTO, UNA STRUTTURA INACCETTABILE

Personnel de l'hôtel absolument pas à l'écoute des clients. Problème sur notre chambre à cause de Trip.com et le propriétaire en vient presque aux menaces : "si vous êtes pas contents, changez d'hôtel, ..." alors que nous voulons simplement la chambre que l'on a payée.

辣雞攜程 放出來的旅店都是假的 住不了的依然放出來 沒住還不退款 找一大堆理由 最後半夜還要在**上找酒店 另外這個BB集團的也不要住 就跟印度那個酒店連鎖一樣 都是差的房間 一定不要在羅馬定一些底價的單人間 都是坑 多花點錢 100-150歐可以住一些標準酒店 大道旁酒店前台 類似於國內商務連鎖 隨沒有那麼大 但相對來説可以 如果多錢就住好一點的四星以上 攜程越來越辣雞了 國內用攜程和**差不多 國外還是用booking吧 酒店真實些 攜程這個辣雞衹能將就着定機票吧 不過要注意 如果你的航班延誤了 你改簽一定要注意 他會把同樣延誤推送給你免費改簽 笑到肚子痛

The room I was in was terrible!! It was Oven hot!! I stayed in room 8, 4th floor with my parents and the moment I walked in I noticed that the Ac was half broken and looked like it was going to fall off any minute, very weak as well! The shower handle was very hard to turn, we had no soap for showering while the other rooms did, the bed went down as we slept on it or sat on it, the single beds mattress was just two cushion like mattresses that were very hard and thin and stuck on with velcro that I could feel the bottom of the bed!! Not to mention that our mini frodge wasnt even cold inside!! Overall, it was just a terrible room!! My cousin's came with us too and their room was very hot as well but cooler than ours, their shower handle broke off the wall and they had no Ac like us as well!! My brothers room on the 1st floor was probably the best room ever, it had Ac, a very nice and big double bed, a nice bathroom, soap to shower, basically everything we didn't!! Our room was so hot that we all woke up at 1am and went downstairs to my brothers room to sleep there. Overall, the room was absolutely atrocious! Do not come and stay at Gialel hotel, unless you want to bake alive and feel like your in a oven!!

Arrived at 11pm and hotel was closed. No response to phone calls. Hotel reception apparently closed at 8pm this is not good enough. Taxi driver stayed with us to help and eventually went to restaurant next door who finally managed to get security codes from owner plus a lift key. So this must have happened before. Finally got into room at 12 midnight. Went straight to bed no sleep as bed had springs which stuck in your back. Toilet filthy. when husband had shower I had to wait at least 15 minutes for the water to drain away. Also shower covered in black mould.Reported to owner fixed it but no difference. Slow running water in basin. Room nothing like pictures on reviews.

Great value for money as the hotels in this location right in the city centre are very expensive. Lovely staff and superb location and room was very clean and tidy.and we got fresh towels every morning . Only thing I could criticise would be there is no air con but they give you fans so didn't bother us to much. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As it's great value for where you are and what you get. We would stay again👍

NEVER AGAIN!!! We went to Rome from the 15th till the 17th of July, 2024 and our stay was Gialel B&B. We started off with a bad start as the owner welcomed us with telling us that they don’t offer breakfast as it is stated in their own name and on their website!! We had our room on the fourth floor with no access of lift whatsoever! We asked politely the owner to give us the access of the key as I had my mother with me who couldn’t keep going up and down all those stairs due to health problems. The owner did not want to give us the access and not only that, she was really rude about it!!!! We paid more than 700 euros for two rooms and didn’t get the service that was displayed when we booked, we knew that there were no ac’s available but it was written that there were fans. The fans were these cheap ones that do not even move! Heated rooms in a heatwave is a disgrace! The mattresses are very old that when you sit down on them they go down with you…… showers only cold water available (which was fortunate for us that it was summer) I wouldn’t recommend this place as your stay as we were really disappointed and we had really bad service! Moreover, owner is very rude and not understanding at all!

Pros: It’s in an excellent location. I asked via email before arriving if we could have a fan in the bedroom which was provided and this really did help. We felt safe sleeping here and walking around the area. There were plenty of spare toilet rolls which you could help yourself to and clean towels were provided. There was a good size fridge in the room and a telly. The woman who worked on Reception was friendly despite the language barrier. Cons: When we arrived from the airport, we were unable to get into the building. It was a big brown door with a buzzer on the side but nobody was answering. It was a good job two people who were staying at the B&B just happened to be leaving the building whilst we were stood outside or I have no idea how we would have got in. I had been in email communication with the owner prior to going there so I have no idea why the code to enter the building wasn’t provided to us. This could have been easily avoided and I’m just glad we arrived in the afternoon because this could have been a disaster. The B&B Reception is on the 2nd floor and our room was on the 4th floor. They gave us a key for the lift but I didn’t feel comfortable going in this lift as it was tiny inside. We were shown to our bedroom and then told our bathroom was on the other side of the hallway which we were unaware of because apparently we had booked the only room without a bathroom. The bathroom was tiny, smelt bad and had no window or air con so you were dripping with sweat just brushing your teeth; the shower walls were mouldy and to be honest I felt dirtier coming out of the shower than I did going in! Our bedroom had a double bed which was broken so we reported this to the girl on reception straight away which was a task in itself as she didn’t understand English. She ended up phoning the owner who said we could swap bedroom for one night whilst the bed was broken but we would have to move back into the bedroom without a bathroom the following day (as this is apparently what we had booked) so we decided not to bother and ended up sleeping on the two single beds in the bedroom which we didn’t mind as they were actually quite comfy compared to the double bed. They said they had sent someone to fix the bed the day after but it still did not look safe. There was no safe in the room so we had to keep locking our cases and there is no air con either, so if I was going to go back to Rome in the summer I would 100% make sure I have air con because it was very hot! We stayed for 4 nights and the bin wasn’t emptied once, beds were not made, in fact I don’t think anything was done. There was no kettle/cups/cutlery etc in the room. To be honest we felt quite relieved leaving this hotel for the final time, especially the bathroom. My honest overall opinion: if the hotel were able to ensure guests had a way of entering the property when they first arrive rather than standing outside not knowing how to get in (and also treated the mould in the bathroom an

We took the double next to ‘reception’. I was really quite disappointed. Firstly, I had booked a twin. The doors were damaged, under the bed was filthy. The bed was often not changed, leading to my son & I being covered in bites. The bin wasn’t emptied for days, I had to leave it outside of the room. There was a good fridge & a table. However no cutlery/plates etc. The shower door wouldn’t shut properly from the inside. The shower pole came off the wall. The hand soap wasn’t topped up. The toilet rolls weren’t topped up, I had to buy my own. The toilet was loose, causing a fall. The receptionist had their mobile phone on loud which was a pain to say the least. The bathroom window didn’t shut. We spent one night in a different place & came back to find we were locked out of the B&B. Eventually found the phone number and had to call them at 11pm. Very stressful with a teenager in tow. The location is really good, close to good restaurants & transport links as well as an easy walk to the Spanish steps and onwards. A few quid spent on the accommodation would make this an place great.

I looked for a relatively cheap place to stay in Rome, as prices have soared recently. I picked Gialel and although I didn't have an unpleasant stay per se, I should have taken a bit more time to find a better place. My room was quite basic. No airco save for the ventilator. There was a brutal heatwave in Rome, so this was not ideal. The shower worked but was also quite basic. There was no toilet paper the first two days and the bedding was not changed until day three, even though I was sweating a lot at night. Speaking of the beds.. there were four beds and one of them literally bent all the way to the floor the moment I out any weight on it. On the positive side: the owners are friendly, I like that I don't need a key to access the building or the room (they work with codes) and the wifi was excellent. The location is nice. The neigbourhood around Veneto is affluent, safe en pretty. But, it's also a twenty minute, hilly walk to Spagna and even further away from the Forum. There a a bus stop nearby with connections to Termini and Venezia, so it's not impossible to get around. So, no it wasn't great and I will look for another place next time. But it could have been worse.
