Ulasan Cardinal Hotel St. Peter

Lovely hotel in nice area. We had a family of four. Wife, 10 year old, 7 year old and myself. We had two rooms with adjoining door on 4th floor. View from the balcony was spectacular overlooking city with feet view of Vatican basilica and hotel swimming pool. Both rooms had mini fridges that worked excellently. Other hotels on same trip, in different cities chilled stuff ever so slightly. These ones had beers ice cold for me. Hotel rooftop bar was quiet at nights. Local mini markets provide whole host of cheaper food and drink within short walk. Pool was well maintained and great for cooling off in recent heatwave. Only downside to this place was its in-house food. Breakfast was not good. Bacon in particular was 90% fat, 10 % actual meat. Worst bacon I have encountered in my life. Had one evening meal. Average. We were first in room for meal with another family of 4 friends. Several items forgotten and had to hound the staff to ask where it was. About €20 to €30 taxi into city centre depending on where you are going. Subway 15min walk away which will take you almost anywhere in city centre
