Great place in central Rome for exploring the city. Roberto and his staff are fantastic hosts, and shared plenty of great local recommendations. Lots of great coffee and dining places nearby. Meticulously clean rooms, comfy beds, soft towels, convenient shower with perfect water pressure and easily regulated temperature. Plenty of complimentary fresh fruits, bottled drinking water, a wide selection of teas, coffee, chocolate croissants were available at all times. Highly recommend this place. Great value for money and would definitely stay here again when in Rome.

We booked this hotel for our last night in Rome. The night before check in, I emailed the property to advise the time of our arrival. I had read they don't always have front desk staff so I wanted to ensure someone could meet us as we had a tour booked for 2:30pm that day and wanted to leave our bags at the hotel if early check in was not available. The hotel responded an hour later advising they were overbooked and could not honor our reservation. I'm not sure when they were planning to notify us of this "change" given we were scheduled to arrive in less than 24 hours. The proprietor said the hotel he bumped us to was only a 5 minute walk. However, when I google mapped it, the walk was noted as 20 minutes (over rough cobblestone streets). We had specifically booked this hotel given our familiarity with the neighborhood, it's proximity to the train station (10 minute walk) and our afternoon excursion. Walking or paying for a cab to get us the new destination was not ideal. I went on line and was able to locate a better hotel (in the same building) and secure a reservation. When I emailed Artemis back to cancel and express my dissatisfaction, the proprietor said he would have paid for a cab.....it's interesting this offer was not provided in the initial email to us. It was only offered after the fact. If you want to ensure your reservation/booking - I would look elsewhere.
