Feronia Guest House

Clean, clean clean. Located in a historic central Rome building, the Feronia Guest House is perfectly located for easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon - sights history and antiquity at every corner in Rome. €8 cab ride from Roma Termini or to the Vatican - a Superb location in the heart of Rome. A stroll back in time to the days of the Roman Empire. Daniella runs a tight ship at Feronia Guest House welcoming all with great breakfast to start the day. This is a great pick for the budget traveller.

Sadly, we arrived within the expected time of arrival but could not gain access to the Guest House no matter how many time the rang the doorbell. We stood on the street with our suitcases until someone from the building opened the door on their way out. We then waited a further 10 minutes outside the Front door to the Guest house and with no response we then phoned the contact Number on the door. It then took a further 5 minutes before someone arrived to let us into the Guest house. We were then asked to sit in the Breakfast room whilst our Room was checked before being shown around. Breakfast on the first morning was hit and miss. We arrived at 8.30 am and made our own unaware that it was usual for someone to arrive and cater for our needs at the breakfast table, which was really superb for the few following breakfast mornings thanks to the services of Daniella who made sure we were well fed! The Guest House is a large Apartment renovated and refitted to create 5 Good sized on-suite rooms along with a Breakfast Room and Office. Our Room was very clean and tidied up and cleaned daily. The beds were also very comfortable and clean. Apart from our wait on our day of arrival, the service for the rest of our stay was first class and would recommend asking the Feronia to arrange the Airport Taxi Services which were punctual and fairly priced for both arrival and departure. Would we use the Feronia again? …The answer would be an outstanding Yes! … It is extremely well located and central for walks to all the Major Attractions in and around Rome. Shopping, Bars and Restaurants are all located within the immediate vincinity with a very interesting mix of Bars and Restaurants at the nearby Fiori de Campo Piazza for those evenings out ..... and a bonus proper, in wall ATM attached to a Bank was also handy directly across the road!

Deberían dar pastillas para dormir a los que alquilen las habitaciones que dan a los tranvías. Una vez que entras y comentas la incidencia, no te hacen caso y dicen que nadie se queja. He tenido que ir a otro sitio y no me han devuelto el dinero. La peor manera de iniciar un viaje.

Tras reservar 7 noches nos tuvimos que a la primera. Es imposible dormir en las habitaciones que dan a la calle. Es un primero, a 1 metro pasan dos tranvias cada 3 o 4 minutos. Vibra toda la habitación y parece que te ha pasado por debajo. Dicho a la propietaria me prometio que no tenian habitaciones interiires y que me devolveria el dinero de las noches restantes. Aqui estoy esperando. Timadores.

Zeer goed verblijf en overal dichtbij. Maria is super lief. Altijd met de glimlach. Heerlijk bed. Ontbijt wordt gemaakt wat je wil. Wij waren daar voor de marathon en konden ‘‘s morgens vroeg zelf ontbijt maken wat zeer makkelijk was. Wat straatlawaai maar je zit dan ook in een stad tenslotte

B&B in posizione centrale e comodissimo: in 10 minuti è possibile raggiungere a piedi Trastevere, Piazza Venezia con l'Altare della Patria e i fori che portano al Colosseo. E' presente nelle immediate vicinanze una fermata in cui passano diversi bus (anche per Termini). La camera era molto spaziosa e luminosa. La colazione molto abbondante (Brioches, pane, marmellate, torte, frutta, yogurt ecc) viene servita in un salotto e tavolo comuni. Essendo praticamente in pieno centro, la camera non è insonorizzata perciò consiglio di portarsi tappi per le orecchie per dormire, in quanto di sera/notte fuori c'è molto rumore.
