Esposizione Palace Hotel

Hotel Esposizione is located on Via Nazionale a popular street with lost of retail shops, restaurants and gelato shops. We Stayed here for 2 nights and had a comfortable stay. Since the buildings are old the elevators cant accommodate a lot of people. They are small elevators but it wasnt an issue for us. We didnt mind walking up to the 4th floor. The receptionist was courteous and helpful at check-in. She gave us a map of Rome and highlighted all the sites that were within walking distance to the hotel. The Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Forum are 15 minutes walk south of the hotel. The Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are 15-20 minutes walk north of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The rooms were big and the bathroom itself was big but for some reason the showers were really small. See the pictures. We had free wifi but there was no breakfast provided which we didnt mind as there were some nice cafe's close by. Overall my family of 5 had a good stay here. I would recommend this hotel based on price and its location.

A good, clean and quiet room. Very good shower. Wifi didn't always work. Reception on third floor, some (my) rooms are on the second floor which is guarded by cameras. Friendly receptionist who was glad to help and advise when requested. Savetybox in room was out of order.

This hotel in Rome was so much better than another one (see my reviews) - excellent location, room big enough for one person, with spacious and new, clean bathroom, comfy bed. Just what I needed for a short stay. The bus to/from Termini including the night bus is right next to the building, and it takes you there in 3 minutes, otherwise you can walk - 12 minutes, and also you can walk to most parts of Rome like Coliseum, Trevi, Navona - easy to get there from this location on foot (15-20 minutes to most places). Metro is also not far.

Our family of 4 stayed there for 5 nights early August. We booked the quadruple room with one full size and two single beds. The room was spacious and clean. The 24 hour front desk staffs were very friendly and spoke fluent English. It was located on the very busy Via Nazionale with many restaurants, supermarkets and clothing boutiques within a 5 minute walk. The metro was a 5-10 walk away, and Termini, Rome’s transport hub was a 15 minute walk away. The reception desk was on the third floor with a “tiny” elevator that barely fit three people. The room had many outlets with both round European style prongs and the flat parallel North American style prongs. The room also had a mini fridge and safe. However, the Wifi signal was very weak in our room. We were very satisfied with our stay.

As nice as the room was, and the cleaning of it daily. We feel really dissapointed. Despite e mailing in advance 4 times. Ringing direct, and leaving messages on ***********. we never got one reply for the shuttle bus to collect us at the airport. Paying £1400 for a 10 day stay, with a balcony only to find that the balcony was outside the adjoining room, overlooking the back of the hotel. We asked to be moved only to be told the front rooms were booked on each night. Surely a long term stay deserved a balcony that didn't over look the back four walls. Really bad service. The reception said that they would message us to move us. Yet its now day 6. And we're still waiting.....its a really bad attitude. Lack of honesty, and a disgrace

Weird hotel. I guess it’s one hotel that offers 3 levels of “quality”. They seem to occupy 2 full floors and 2-3 more half-floors of a 7 story commercial office(??) building.(ground floor is 0 in Europe, so their on 2-6). Their “palace” says it’s on the 2nd floor and it has a desk area, but no one there, you have to go to the 3rd floor. Their hotel description says they’re 100% accessible, but I assure you they are not. There’s a step to get into the building itself. The “elevator” is a death trap that is 2’x4’ in footprint and wouldn’t fit a wheelchair. It says “nope” when more than one adult goes in (doors refuse to close) and makes scary groaning noises when you ride it. You’re afraid that at any second the cables will snap and you’ll plunge to your death. It also does not go to the 6th floor. 5th is as high as it goes. Our room was “okay”. A bit sterile. Tiny garbage cans. Shower has huge step up and not accessible. Wardrobe is large but doesn’t have any shelves and only 3 hangers so essentially useless. Room does have AC which worked. Needs actual key card in the power slot to work to give room power (other “light cards” don’t work). Toilet is a tight fit along bathroom counter (like you’re sitting at a dining table). Couldn’t get towel warmer to work. Shower wand holder our room broken so it swings around wildly, and there are no shelves in the shower to put your soap and shampoo, so you have to open the stall, reach out to get it, put it on your hands, the close the stall every time you want soap or shampoo.
