Holiday Inn Express BEIHAI SILVER BEACH by IHG

Hotel dekat Silver Beach (Silver Beach Bath&Beach Park),Beihai
Holiday Inn Express is a brand under the InterContinental Hotels Group and one of the earlier international select-service hotel brands to enter China. Holiday Inn Express precisely meets the demands of savvy business and leisure travelers for high-quality, safe and reliable accommodation experiences and friendly service. The Holiday Inn Express Beihai Silver Beach is within walking distance of Beihai Silver Beach Park. The hotel rooms offer sea views and feature high-end and simple room decoration designs, providing a quiet and comfortable stay environment for guests. High-quality toiletries are also provided, bringing an unprecedented refined experience to every guest. The hotel is well-equipped with modern facilities such as a laundry room and a buffet breakfast with both Chinese and Western options. The Holiday Inn Express Beihai Silver Beach is the smart choice in the hearts of guests.
"I stayed here with my girlfriend during the Chinese new year, and we loved it. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially the boy who helped with our luggage and the restaurant staff, such as Wang Xiaomei who welcomed us each morning. The hotel is very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. The only problem I had, as with all HI hotels I’ve stayed in recently, is that the pillows are uncomfortable and need replacing, and the duvet is far too thick for the warm weather in Beihai. Also, they advertised on Ctrip that they have air conditioning, but it doesn’t work. Overall, a good stay though thanks to the staff."

Close to the beach but poorly managed and maintained. Two teenagers help with maintenance and are learning on the job (it took a week of messaging back and forth for them to realize that the shower in the bathroom was indeed not working properly). For some reason it was not possible to get a clean foot towel exchanged daily. . The room could not be locked from the inside ( the lock was broken) . There is a kitchen (breakfast is included ) but they tend to overcharge for a simple meal. Might work for families with small children.

Staff was really friendly, made us felt really at home. Room was clean as well. Walls are abit thin so do bring earplugs if u’re sensitive to noise. Aside from that, service was top notch and everyth was really well arranged and prepared for us. Would totally recommend this and go back to this place if i ever come back here.

Wonderful experience! The hotel was a 2 minute walk to the beach and had a beautiful ocean view. I am a foreigner and was traveling solo and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They arranged pick up and drop off from the ferry station which was very convenient. Also, their food was delicious!! They even went to the seafood market for me and the chef cooked the seafood I picked. If I come back to Weizhou Island, I would love to stay there again.

I stayed for two nights (originally three). Unfortunately there were no ferry getting there in the first day, therefore I was just able to stay there for two nights. In the end, they offered me to refund one of my nights, which was very nice of them. The room was nice, clean and very silent (except of the AC). the stuff was friendly and the hotel had a great pickup service. The hotel is a great place to chill and calming down. There are even some Restaurants and Shops close by (10 Minute walk) and the beach is just a few meters from your room, therefore directly at the hotel. (1minute walk). I truly can recommend this hotel. 😊
