Grand Hotel Rogaska

Stayed 4 nights in this comfortable and charming hotel with a grand ballroom from 1912. The first room that was allocated was an attic room facing the back road. After some discussion the room was changed to quieter one facing the front on the second floor. This room was ideal even if some of the music from the grand ballroom was audible. This room had a king bed, large cupboard with lots of coat hangers and a large safe. There was a bathroom with a wash basin, toilet and bathtub with a step in shower PLUS a second toilet in a separate room. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom was a good addition. Plenty of towels and thick bathrobes and slippers were provided. There was a couch and table in the annex as well as a desk and fridge. Coffee and tea making facilities were provided but not enough tea bags or any fresh milk. Both breakfast and dinner were a large buffet with a large variety of cooked meats, fish and salads. The sauna was relaxing experience on a cold day as was the cafe with music from a record player on the ground floor. It was a lovely stay, even when on rainy days and would most certainly stay again in the same room. Negatives: The internet was very slow at times and needs to be improved. The range of fresh fruit for breakfast could also be improved to include berries for breakfast and and more cooked vegetables (besides potatoes) for dinner.

Hospitality, quitness and beautifull nature. Oerfect for long weekend. Prices are reasonable, in particular half board. Accomodation design follows history of this place and is modern and antic in the samo time. Spa is nice, pool, saunas, whirpool and if you like more privacy you may book roi spa for reasonable 15eur. Nothing to do with hotel but everything was closed on weekend and holidays, so if you forget something, like toothpaste you may need to take car and go to Croatia 😀

My wife and I were there for a SPA weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer various treatments and other beauty providers are within walking distance. The hotel and Rogaška as a whole is great destination for a wellness since the prices are moderate and quality of services is great. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The bathroom is fully stocked with mini bottles of everything you might need and restocked every day. Food selection at breakfast is great. The location is the best in Rogaška located by the center of the park.

Meraviglioso, tutto perfetto. La pulizia, il ristorante, la piscina, le saune tutto alla perfezione. Sembra di ritornare indietro nel tempo, il personale è gentilissimo ma soprattutto sempre disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Da ritornare sicuramente.

Großes Hotel mit renovierten Zimmern, die Minibar im Zimmer war immer leer, der Fernseher funktionierte leider nicht. Die Matratzen sind viel zu weich, verursacht Rückenschmerzen! Gratis W-Lan! Das Buffetessen wurde leider immer zu wenig warm gehalten, im Kristallsaal zog es bei den großen Türen gewaltig hinein, so dass die Teller beim Buffet immer kalt waren! Das Servierpersonal (zuständig für die Getränke, die sehr hochpreisig sind) war immer freundlich, allerdings kam es vor, dass Biergläser leider derzeit nicht verfügbar waren! Wellnessbereich ist in den 70er-Jahren stecken geblieben = dringend renovierungsbedürftig! Wir waren definitiv zum letzten Mal dort, denn das Hotel ist an einer Verbesserung der Mängel nicht interessiert.
