I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Cocotier Hotel from December 26 to 31, 23. My overall impression of the hotel was quite disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Upon arrival, there was a lack of introduction around the hotel premises, leaving me feeling uninformed about the available facilities. The room presented additional challenges with a leaking wash basin, low water pressure, and a bed formed by two single beds, creating an uncomfortable canal in the middle and they said they would give us our actual room which we paid for the day after and it didn't happened until 28th, already i couldnt settle myself in as it should cause i knew i had to move. To exacerbate matters, when I requested my initial room i booked for, i still had uncomfortable sleeping conditions, the new room had a malfunctioning AC. This issue forced me to seek yet another room (3rd now now) well past 23:00, disrupting my sleep in the high temperatures of Rodrigues. Despite my efforts to communicate these issues directly with the hotel manager, I received a disappointing response. Not only did they fail to reply to my emails promptly, but their proposed solution was merely a lunch – a gesture that fell short, especially considering the subpar quality of the hotel's food and so much inconvenience to us,trying to spend a peaceful time as couple to end the year on a good note. The lack of effective resolution and the overall condition of the hotel lead me to believe that Cocotier Hotel is in dire need of serious renovation. My stay was marred by inconveniences, and the time lost cannot be replaced. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel for your stay in Rodrigues. Sincerely, Divya Ghoorbin
