Travelodge Carlisle Todhills

5* I had a fantastic stay at Travelodge! The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth, and the location was perfect for my trip. Despite being affordable, the hotel didn’t compromise on comfort or service. I will definitely be staying here again—highly recommend!

On arrival for an overnight stay the room looked clean, bathroom clean. It was a disabled room we booked but sadly toilet far to low. Bring disabled I really struggled, couldn't use shower as it was over a low bath not walk in. Husband used shower and it was awful, water just trickled out. We were in room 1 round from reception, very noisy. Door banged all day and night but not as much noise as coming from room directly above, they were having a party. They banged doors, wandered and thumped about all night. I gave in at 4 am and went to reception to ask if they would go and shut them up. All went quiet for 10 mins then started again. We got no sleep, none at all. Bed was extremely uncomfortable it was 2 singles zipped together but 1 mattress was thinner than the other so there was a huge hard ridge right down middle of the bed. We gave up trying to sleep and checked out at 7.30am long before we intended to. Drove into Carlisle to get breakfast as no breakfast there unless a roll at Costa. Upon checkout I informed girl on desk of our experience and she was not one bit bothered. Shrugged her shoulders and said "oh well". Not an apology or offer of any refund as compensation just a look and a shrug. We will never be back and I warn anyone booking don't expect much sleep or helpful staff. We were very disappointed. Premier Inn all the way for us.

Rooms weren’t prepared how they normally are, some staff unhelpful. I’d like to speak with someone about this. Mattress had a dip in it Room not clean No soap in one room No shawer gel in one room No extra pillows in our room Hairs on the bed and pillows. This one probably isn’t your fault but the sat nav postcode took us to the wrong side of the road after driving past ( I know that’s not down to you but a warning in the email could help) after telling the receptionist she said it happens all the time. Paid for 3 rooms 2 nights but left early morning after the first night, staff wasn’t interested in listening to my problems.

Brilliant night stay clean welcoming hotel. Staff very friendly and good location to get on and off the motorway. Costa and bp with m&s nearby or you can order deliveries through apps. Iron and board given out when I requested it along with hairdryer.

This is a great location for getting into Carlisle and there is minimum road noise from the motorway. Plenty of car parking and a Costa on site if needed as well as being close to a garage. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff helpful, friendly and polite.

Awful hotel dated and noisy, bed linens were dirty, I now have bite marks on my legs, I stay in Travelodge all over the country and this is definitely the worst, curtains don’t fit the window space so light comes in from the car park, radiator clicks on and off all night when th a very annoying light
