Inn at Osprey Point

This was our second year coming back to Osprey Point and staying in the Escapades room, which we love because it has the best view of Chesapeake Bay! The breakfast served in the morning is great, love those homemade quiches! Dinner at the restaurant in the evening was delicious, we were all very happy with the dishes we ordered and the service there is excellent, attentive, warm and friendly! Thank you again for hosting us, we all had a fabulous time and are looking forward to seeing you again next summer!!!

What a great place to stay. The room was large and very clean. Loved the fact that breakfast is included and the breakfasts have many delicious options to choose from. I also love the fact that they have a full restaurant on site. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A truly delightful inn with everything beautifully done. The main inn is lovely with Williamsburg-type decor tailored to the Eastern Shore. Our room in the Annex was large with a private balcony from which we could watch the boats and our own resident osprey. Everyone was so helpful for our micro-getaway. Rock Hall is a peaceful town with wonderful vistas and a great base for exploration. Dinner at the restaurant for my husband's birthday could not have been more delightful with creative dishes, graciously served in a space where one could have a quiet conversation. Breakfasts were delicious as well. Thank you! We will definitely return.

Booked two rooms for 3 adults and 4 children. Exceeded our expectations in all respects. Very relaxing getaway in an old-fashioned bayside retreat. Kids swam in the pool, played frisbee & tag, road bicycles around the property, explored the shoreline, etc., including my two boys catching a water snake. Lots of great water bird life around. Kids were too young for kayaking. Spend one afternoon at the nearby small sandy beach which was quite fun. We also had lunch and spent the afternoon in nearby historic Chestertown which was fun. There's an old fashioned luncheonette and bakery side by side which are wonderful, plus an ice cream shop. Some cute eateries in Rock Hall also. Osprey Inn is probably a bit boring for 1 child, but our small gang of kids had fun. No computers, no iPads and no video games for 3 days. The Osprey Inn restaurant was fantastic. The fillet mignon was perfect and I had the best Key Lime Pie in many, many years. Lastly, the employees at (and around) the inn are all so nice and helpful. Just wonderful welcoming people.

We loved our stay! Our room was so comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was amazingly delicious and our breakfast hostess was so wonderful, sweet and accommodating. Working with the Innkeeper, Terry, was also an incredible experience as she was beyond understanding when we needed to reschedule.

We love returning to Osprey point. The grounds, facilities, and scenery is absolutely beautiful. Everyone who works there is extremely helpful and it is managed very well Both the breakfast, and separately ran dinner restaurant do a super job.

Excellent service, lovely grounds, wonderful amenities (luxurious towels and linens), tasty homemade breakfast, and lots to do (pool, bikes, and kayaks). It was a great family reunion and fabulous way to celebrate the 4th of July! We'll be back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Best place to stay when in Rock Hall. The breakfast is yummy, the staff is pleasant and helpful, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, bikes and kayaks are available for use and the pool is a great place to chill. In house restaurant has always been one of our favorites for dinner during the weekends.

We are staying in the Gratitude marina Inn annex for a few days over the July 4 holiday, and it has been a relaxing and comfortable stay. Although it’s very hot here now , the central air conditioning is quiet and excellent, and we enjoyed the pool at the main inn, and their excellent and reasonably priced restaurant. Our room is bright and spacious, with a comfortable king sized bed, big leather recliners, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, coffees/tea, creamers, bottled water, and a terrace ( new Adirondack chairs, small table nighttime lantern lighting ) overlooking the docks for a fine morning, sunset or moonlit view. An ice machine is accessed on a staircase right outside the rooms. Parking is easy ( spaces are reserved for Annex guests) and plenty of free bikes are available . The Marina dock is also accessible for annex guests, and has a breezy far corner picnic table, which offered a perfect vantage point for the town’s firework display. Bikes are also available at the main inn , as well as free kayaks and canoes . Note that both the inn and annex are marinas and many guests visit on their boats so the pool and restaurant were particularly crowded for the holiday . There is a small beach with two picnic tables next to the marina but only saw dogs swimming. . No issues at all with Internet connections at the annex, there are several options you can use if one signal is not as strong as another, and the staff have all been responsive, helpful and friendly, even during the very busy holiday. We would happily return. Some tips: very good birdwatching here, mainly ospreys and herons, on the docks so don’t forget your binoculars, especially if you also plan to go to the Eastern Neck refuge. I’d recommend bringing a supply of snacks, fruits, and beverages if you stay in the annex, as there are no nearby stores. There is an excellent bar restaurant “ Blue Heron Oyster” bar about a 5 min walk from the annex - note it takes no reservations and it was very busy over the holiday. Consider booking a sail in advance, and note there are more options including a discounted option offered by the inn, if you have a larger party.
