Residence Inn Rochester Mayo Clinic Area

This is a very nice hotel, food is wonderful. Everyone is nice here. Shoutout to Ashley, Filly, and Cheryl for doing a job above and beyond. This hotel has direct access to the Mayo Clinic via subway and it couldn't be more convenient. If you're looking for a place to stay in Rochester, MN - this is the hotel. 5 stars all around :)

Let me start by saying I don’t write reviews but I need to give this hotel a very positive review. Two reasons. First, if you’re here for Mayo Clinic as we were, their location couldn’t be better. They are connected to the clinic via the subway system (good for getting to the clinic and back without going outside in inclement weather) and it’s also an easy one block walk to the main entrance above ground as well. Second, the staff here is as good as (better than!) most hotels I’ve stayed in across the country. Ashley, the day manager goes above and beyond for any request. All of her staff I interacted with (Andrew, Filly, Dan, Rosita, Cheryl) were also courteous, kind, and willing to help me with whatever I needed. I’ll finish by saying the hotel is currently undergoing a remodel, but even so, the work being done caused little to no inconvenience at all. Thank you Ashley for making our time at Mayo as comfortable as possible. Danny

Excellent service as soon as we arrived! Ashley was very efficient, kind and friendly! Helped us with all our issues! She made us feel at home. Very good location, walking distance from Mayo Clinic. Clean room. Complete kitchen. Overall very very good

I want to compliment the Marriott regarding the caring and kindness of the management and staff at this hotel. Whether dealing with Andrew M., Philly or Ashley M. at the front desk, or Cheryl, the cheerful morning breakfast czar, each did everything possible to accommodate our needs during our stay. Whether adjusting our current and future reservations due to Mayo Clinic appointment changes, or just providing 'extras' to make us more comfortable during our stay, everyone including housekeeping and maintenance staff were attentive and always friendly! My wife is dealing with significant health issues and treatments at the Mayo Clinic. The subway connection of this hotel to the clinic is both convenient and very helpful, and the facility 'refresh' which is currently in progress will make this property even more desirable. Paul B.

My wife and I chose this Residence Inn for an extended stay while receiving treatment at Mayo. Although the temperatures were below zero many days, we were able to walk to our appointments in the convenient (and heated) subway connected directly to the Clinic. The icing on the cake was the incredible personal service we received from both Ashley M and Filly at the front desk. How nice to be welcomed back from a long day at the Clinic by these two ladies.
