I went to the front desk and asked for another room. I once again inspected that room for everything and anything, it was all good. We moved into that newer room on the second floor. A few minutes later the front desk receptionist knocked on the door. She informed me that the manager did not want any new lodgers to be housed on the second floor which is scheduled to be upgraded or have maintenance inspections and/or repairs in the next several days. Once again we were moved back up to the 5th floor. I inspected the room and found nothing that would cause another move. This room was once again clean etc.
The only reason these situations did not cause me to react in a negative manner - having to complain to whoever, write a one star rant on a feedback site – there was nothing the staff could have been done to prevent these situations. Everything was done to prepare these rooms for occupancy. The rooms were clean nothing was amiss. One cannot predict a clogged toilet nor clogged bath tub drain. Who could predict bugs in a bathroom area where there is no nearby source food? A change in the weather perhaps? The Quality Inn receptionists acted quickly in each case.
I gave Quality Inn four stars - I had to throw out my garbage. No one came to ask if we needed anything. A Quality Inn receptionist at the front desk must be notified for more towels, cups or get your garbage thrown out.
