The room was spotlessly clean, with no stains in corners or the bathroom. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were very practical. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the mattress had just the right firmness, and the soundproofing and blackout curtains were excellent – I slept straight through till morning. The facilities were well-maintained, and the toiletries were high quality. Room service was very responsive whenever I needed anything. The location is superb, making it easy to get around for dining and shopping. Throughout my stay, the service was attentive yet discreet, never overbearing. Every detail showed thoughtfulness, truly making me feel at home. This is my top choice for accommodation when traveling; I’ll definitely stay here again!"

If you're driving, the university town night market is a few kilometers away. Don't go to the night market too late, as there won't be much good food left."

"Rizhao Grand Hotel has a rather imposing name. As a newly opened hotel, its facilities are quite modern, with electric curtains, smart toilets, TVs with screen mirroring capabilities, and food delivery robots being standard features. A pleasant surprise about the room I booked was its huge bay window, which filled the room with sunlight. It was quite nice for two people to sit there. The gym is open 24 hours and has comprehensive, new, and functional facilities. The breakfast was decent; I got fresh leafy greens, and my child got hot, freshly cooked noodles, which was fine. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, overlooking a small garden."

"I came to Rizhao for a business trip today, and my colleague booked this hotel online. This is a newly opened hotel. During the stay, the service in all aspects was still in place, and the waiters were also very warm and thoughtful. There are shopping malls around and dining is very convenient. Room: 1. The space is large and spacious; 2. The sanitary condition is very good and clean; 3. Because it is a new hotel, the smell in the room is still quite strong, so you need to open the windows for ventilation! 4. The facilities and equipment are average and not intelligent. The socket panel on the wall is not strong. When the plug was pulled out, the panel almost fell off. 5. The water flow in the bathroom is very good and the water temperature is relatively stable. 6. The air conditioner is very quiet and not easy to feel, but it is indeed working normally. breakfast: 1. The omelette is cold. This should be controlled according to the passenger flow, otherwise it will become cold quickly if you make too much. 2. Some dishes still need to be kept warm. 3. Hot and sour soup, wontons, and fried dough sticks are very good."

"Cons: The bathroom in the room was utterly inhumane, enough to drive you crazy. The toilet was windowless and completely transparent – who could possibly defecate like that? The stench was overwhelming. There was no space to put anything in the shower room; you had to leave it directly on the floor. You had to come out naked to get a towel after showering. The family room had some bizarre design concept. Breakfast required walking to another hotel, not far, but I was very annoyed because it wasn't mentioned when booking. (Picture of breakfast quality attached). Cleaning was terrible. The balcony tables and chairs were unattended and soaked, getting my clothes wet. The next day it rained, and I returned to the hotel around noon, only to find the room still unwashed. The worst part was wanting a hot shower, but there was no hot water! Can you believe it? 800 yuan a night? No hot water. Pros: The town is lively with many snacks. I really don't recommend Rizhao. The facilities are extremely poor. Taxis and ride-hailing services are scarce, traffic is terrible, and a set of beach chairs costs 80 yuan per hour, without even a bottle of water. They're practically robbing people! The tourism department is incredibly stingy, and prices are extremely high. It's just a fishing village; the value for money is extremely, extremely, extremely low."

"Huamei Hotel is in a great location, close to various attractions and the city center. The room is clean and sanitary, and fruit biscuits are provided.
