The hotel is located in an ideal location with restaurants, shops, and the lake within steps from the front door The staff were incredibly welcoming and service was fantastic. The spa was a bonus, clean, and welcoming. We would definitely return to Riva del Garda in the future and would love to stay here again.

I traveled for a month with 2 friends. We are all over 70. Hotel Potici was one of the nicest hotels of our trip. The location, on the main plaza of Riva del Garda was perfect. This hotel is reasonably priced, the rooms were very comfortable, and the front desk staff were all friendly and helpful! I had on issue with my room, and it was responded to very quickly. The included breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those whose budget is moderately priced.

This was a most enjoyable stay, a well maintained and beautiful hotel that was located in a perfect position facing the main square of gorgeous Riva del Garda. I decided to stay in a suite with view of the square, and I was fortunate to be given a room in the older part of the hotel, which had loads of character with the beautiful ceiling beams. Everything about the room was well thought out and furnished in a manner fitting the lakeside town. The bed was very comfortable, the living room sofas made me feel right at home. Complementary fruit plate and bottle of champagne were a welcome gift on arrival, what a lovely gesture. Housekeeping was exemplary, breakfast room absolutely enormous with so much on offer. Amazingly helpful staff at reception, nothing was too much of a problem for them to assist with. Riva del Garda was my favorite town along Lake Garda, and I would not hesitate in staying at this hotel again. Hotel Ai Portici really enhanced my stay at this wonderful town.

The breathtaking lake views, impeccable service, and comfortable accommodations, along with the amazing complimentary wellness center, exceeded our expectations. The staff's warmth and meticulous attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. Not only did the delicious breakfast spread set the perfect tone for each day, but the prime location also allowed us to easily explore the charming surroundings. What added to the uniqueness of our stay is the fact that it's a pet-friendly hotel, making it ideal for us to bring along our little kitten. Grateful for this unforgettable getaway, we highly recommend Hotel Portici to fellow travelers seeking a perfect blend of luxury and charm. It's a place where every aspect, from the breathtaking views to the exceptional service and thoughtful amenities, radiates excellence.

First of all the expirience i had in this hotel was incredible. On our errivel the stuff helped us with everything if its valey for the car or the lougages. Second the hotel is defferent from other hotel ive been to if its the luxsury spa with alot to offer or the pool The resturant amazing and i hoped i had stayed more

Horrible front desk staff, horrible beds, horrible air conditioning. Looks like we had a similar experience as the most recent reviewer although we were completely unrelated. We were greeted by Marta when we arrived who was one of the coldest, rudest hotel staffers I’ve ever encountered. The beds are rock solid. At night, the air conditioning would shut off or get warmer as if it had a mind of its own and we came to find out the front desk could control it despite what we had it set at. Most of the staff we encountered at the hotel were anything but nice, which is a huge exception to most experiences we have ever had while traveling. Skip this hotel, not sure what’s going on compared to the other positive reviews.

I slept so terribly the two nights I stayed here. The beds are thin, rock hard as well as the pillows, and my bed was 2 small small beds put together. There is no temperature control in the room and the hotel is very cheap and turns off the air conditioning at night while you “try” to sleep. I woke up sweating every hour and asked the concierge to lower my temperature but it was no use- still a sauna in the room. The rooms are paper thin can hear everything and the light is piercing from the window. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Italy in the past 3 weeks. I’ve stayed at far better hostels compared to this. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel

Hotel Portici is a lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, in the best part of Riva del Gardo – located in a beautiful piazza in the old part of Riva, just by the harbour. The rooms are well-appointed and spacious and the breakfast is excellent.
