Ulasan Hotel Astoria Palace

The location is great, however you should be aware that the you pay so much for the location and that's it. Standard double room is not spacious, with very small window. The hotel itself is far-far away from luxury, for Europe it looks like 2-3 stars, definitely not 4. The main advantage is rooftop, where you can see beautiful Copacabana beach from 14th floor. This terrace is open for every guest of hotel, even on New Year's eve for free. The service is poor: gentlemen on reception talked indifferently, barely understanding english. They even gave us misleading information: for example, one of them told I need to get up at 7:30 sharp to give belongings for laundry (and no chance to do it in advance or later), the second was sure that we needed to pay for New Year's dinner to have access to rooftop (he didn't know the word "terrace", by the way). Both were wrong. The breakfast was mediocre, with Fanta pretending to be orange juice and no vegetables at all, but with fair good cheeses and deserts though. The service in the bar is very-very slow.

Nice hotel that near to the beach, with rooftop pool. Staff are also supportive and nice.

The hotel has a nice location on the beach, but the property could do with some updates. The first room I went into had a funny smell, so I reported it to reception. The male receptionist looked at me, and as if he doubted my word After I insisted, he assigned me a new room, but it was left to me to move my luggage. . No support was offered and I couldn’t be bothered to ask. I did ask if there would be any complimentary water put in the room. He said he would get housekeeping to put some water, but I’m still waiting two days later.  Power outlets in the room are limited and not designed for modern travel. No USB points. The TV is old and not smart or Internet connected. There are no cable channels so nearly all of the channels are local language apart from one CNN news channel in English.. The hotel is quite noisy and dogs. The walls are thin and guests scrape furniture across the marble floors. This is relatively easy to remedy if the hotel cared. The rooftop pool was disappointing as it’s quite small and normally full of kids. The restaurant is closed after breakfast. There is a bar, but it’s never open.. The biggest problem I had was the Internet. It did not work properly in my room and kept cutting out every few minutes. I had to stand in the corridor or come down to the lobby in order to get any decent coverage. I complained to the staff, but they did nothing and just told me it works.. This was extremely frustrating and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this hotel again.

The room I'd booked wasn't available when I checked in, so I was given a different room type. I was able to change rooms the next day, so it was fine. Great views from the rooftop terrace. The WiFi is awful. It's 2024; there's no excuse for hotels to have crappy WiFi.

Já é 4 vez seguida em que ficamos no Astoria, porém fizemos o checkin a noite e pra nossa tristeza jogaram nós no 1 andar onde era um quarto de acredito eu uma PCD… solicitamos algo melhor porém ficou só pro outros dia. Nesse mesmo quarto a vista nem existia onde eu mesmo reservei com vista para a cidade, café agradável limpeza também, atendimento do PEDRO em especial top… o da noite mal nos respondeu

Filtro do ar condicionado estremamente sujo. Cortina suja, um barulho infernal no quarto em razão de uma possível bomba de água  Reclamei mas não adiantou. Café da manhã bom;  Os atendentes simpáticos.

Ótima localização, muito confortável.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer sollte langsam modernisiert werden. Sonst war alles ganz gut!

Hotel Maravilhoso, uma vista espetacular e café da manhã fantástico, com certeza voltaria a me hospedar

El hotel está ubicado en frente a la playa de Copacabana. Tiene una piscina bastante pequeña en su increíble terraza. Buen desayuno

Tuvimos la posibilidad de conocer 3 tipos d habitaciones. Una triple, en piso 10, con vista a la ciudad: cómoda, con todo lo necesario, y la vista es hacia el Cristo Redentor. Una doble, de lujo, con vista al mar, en piso 2: más cómoda aún, con hidromasaje y mejores amenities. Una doble, standard, con vista al mar, en piso 9: cómoda, aunq el baño en esta es sin ventilación natural. Los teles en las comunes, eran más pequeños y no permitían compartir pantalla ( ya q ninguno tenía para uso d Netflix, x ejemplo). El Internet, en los pisos altos, se corta. Todo estuvo excelente. La ubicación es única. Q tengas toallas y reposeras en la playa también. La sombrilla se paga (R$10). El desayuno es buenísimo!
