If you stay at a Premier Inn bring a toilet brush!
I use Premier Inn quite a lot - convenient, comfortable and value for money. Not this time! There seems to have been a change in corporate policy, for the worse. The card that I got when checking in told me that I could get my room made up by informing Reception before 12:00, which I did. Upon my return to the room nothing had been done! Reception then informed me that their head office policy now was for stays longer than one night, rooms would only be made up after 5 days! Fortunately they found some clean towels, replacement tea bags and a toilet brush. Someone from the bar then helped me make up the room and clean the bathroom. Top marks for staff helpfulness but no marks for corporate cleanliness.

The hotel is what you would expect. However they charged me twice for the hotel and had to go and had to drive back to the hotel to get a refund. The reception was unorganised and slow. And most of the time nobody on reception. The rooms was good and was clean so can't complain. However the weirdest set up ever the sinks was outside the bathroom. The sinks was in the room where you sleep awful to try and use sink while you have a baby or someone sleeping.

Perfect for an overnight stay if flying from Manchester Airport just a 4 minutes drive plenty of parking space £12 for the night spotless room with a large comfortable bed and good value tasty food served in the well laid out restaurant by friendly and efficient staff would highly recommend.

We stayed here the night before an early flight top Lapland from Manchester airport. I* was going to book the park and drive but the minibus was £15 per person which was shocking - £60 to drive 9 minutes and then the same on return. We decided to just stay and then drive ourselves, parking was a more reasonable £12 per night. The room was as expected, clean and tidy and comfy beds. The bar queue took an age as there were lots of people manning the restaurant and only one on the bar. Overall, fine for the purpose.

Bit tied hotel but as usual the beds / pillows made a good ngt sleep . . Food good and for once in a premier inn the breakfast hot . . Stopped in premier plus part of hotel and as usual clean / fresh and quite , no noise from the main road . . Staff ok seemed a bit fed up working over Christmas but who won't . . Won't stay again as found the parking charges a complete rip off and pointless for one ngt stay especially when there's so many empty spaces . .
