Opera Hotel

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Opera Hotel in Riga. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the bed was particularly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was also nice, with a good selection and a pleasant overall experience. However, there was one significant issue during my stay. The temperature outside dropped below 10°C at night, but there was no heating in the room, which made it feel quite cold. As a result, taking a shower was not a particularly pleasant experience because the bathroom and room were too chilly. Apart from the lack of heating, I had a pleasant stay and was generally happy with the hotel.

Nice and well located hotel in the heart of Riga. The only problem is there’s not many restaurants around

It seems the standard recommendation to go to the airport is to walk 650m with underpass and luggage in tow when you can easily any of the many buses for one stop to transfer. No extra cost when you buy a day pass.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel for two nights in November 2025 together with my dog, a Border Collie. We were received warmly and treated kindly by the staff throughout our stay. Great location, too. Would definitely book again! :)

My stay at the Opera Hotel has a pleathora of mixed feelings. I'd classify it as perfectly adequate for a short business trip if you get a good deal, but there are a few significant issues that really hampered the experience. 🚩 super narrow rooms, almost no space to put suitcases 🚩 upper mattress is moving while you are sleeping, so basically you end up falling from the bed 🚩 key card issues

Had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff is super nice and fluent in English. Everything was super clean. It's very close to great restaurants malls and grocery stores too. Makes it very affordable and convenient while still enjoying the luxury it has.

The room is clean and tidy.Reception personnel are nice and friendly. 👍 Perfect location, not too far from the old town or the center.But the room is loud.
