We'd eaten at the brilliant restaurant before and I booked a night there for my husband's birthday. The room we stayed in, Baudelaire, was gorgeous: fabulous river view, that lovely copper tub, and a bed larger than my first flat. It was so comfortable - it had that air of what the Norwegians call "hygge". And food superb, of course. Thank you to the staff - we felt welcome, relaxed and spoilt throughout.

This stay was fantastic the team were so attentive during our stay, from reception, housekeeping and all of the bar and restaurant staff. The design of the hotel is great and the setting along the river is perfect. Have stayed in a few places in Richmond…..this was the best

The Bingham Riverhouse is such a wonderful place. I had friends from all over the world visiting for the weekend & The Bingham Riverhouse team looked after us so well. Francesco & the team arranged a table for us last minute on Friday night for Espresso Martinis. We loved how welcoming & friendly they were & the service (sorry lovely female mixologist we did not get your name. You were amazing!) martinis & dj were fabulous! We then came back for Sunday lunch. To be welcomed by Troy, Carl & the team is so gorgeous & then being looked after by Roberto & the team was exceptional. We all love Vanessa! What a beautiful person & the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much. It really was the highlight of our weekend. See you all soon.

This should be a 5* hotel! Me and my wife had the most amazing, relaxing, romantic stay at the Bingham Riverhouse. The room was stunning, it was classy and elegant with a vintage touch. We had a lovely view of the river, and the bath was amazing! We had the Sunday lunch which was absolutely delicious, highly recommend trying the food here. All the staff were very kind and really looked after us. We will definitely be coming back to stay.

We had a delightful stay at the Bingham Riverhouse. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast , dinner and cocktails were all superb. Our young black Labrador 'Dashby' was made to feel at home too. Richmond Upon Thames is lovely and the Bingham's location ideal. A happy place enjoyed by all

On what has arguably been the best day of the year so far weather wise we stopped by for an early evening drink. The view from the outdoor terrace has to be one of the most enviable views in Richmond. The service was impeccable and would highly recommend. Thanks to Charles and the entire team for such a warm welcome.

We were looking forward to a better than average evening out and it all started well with a friendly welcome and great cocktails. The bread with whipped butter was delicious and, for one of us, was followed by some excellent scallops, however, for the other of us the rabbit rillettes was distinctly average with little flavour and under-seasoned. For our main courses, the steak was ordered as medium-rare but was served medium and under-seasoned and the venison ‘bourguignon’ wasn’t as succulent as it should have been. The break between the starter and main course was awkwardly long. Overall it was a “nice” meal rather than the special meal that was hoped for given the price that was charged for it. A long way short of our previous experience under the previous chef.

With space inside and out, Bingham Riverhouse is the best place to enjoy your downtime and experience Richmond. We had two rooms during our stay: Best River and River. Both amazing. Breakfasts are fab. As was all the food and drink day and night. Walking distance to town, Petersham, Richmond Park and Ham House. Amazing restaurant both here and at Gaucho on the river. And your dog is as welcome and as well looked after as you are. We’ve had one of most enjoyable breaks here and we will be back. Absolutely loved it.
