Blue Bay Hotel

Loved it! Nice clean rooms, pools and seating the restaurants are nice and when they are not open there are giros chips and pizza available by the pool lovely view of the sea whilst at the bar you can sit on the beach some great cocktails and mocktails a lovey Spa, lovely staff and shops have just what you need perfect t holiday

Everything was of great quality and it was a Nice experience! My massage was with Stefania, she was very nice. It was a great first time experience i enjoyed it.

This hotel is horrendous and easily one of the worst all inclusive hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms are really outdated, worn and just a mess. Air conditioning did not work in our first room and when we moved it was marginally better. The images used in the online material must be old and when the hotel was first opened. The work that has been done around the hotel is just a poor standard. This hotel need a complete refurb. The hotel is large and there are no way enough sun loungers around the main pool where the entertainment is held during the day. The ones that are there are taken by eager towel hunting lounger people early morning so no normal person still in bed gets a look in. These people then fail to sit on them for the majority of the day but nothing is done by the hotel staff. There are a number of restaurants at the hotel to eat in, the main buffet restaurant is constantly busy and queues do circle around the lobby area at breakfast and dinner. There are 4 restaurants you can book through the app but the check in team only tell you about the Italian and Greek. You can only book one of these which I find strange and never experienced before in an all inclusive hotel. The other two, burger and Asian, we only got to try the burger restaurant as we found out too late and the Asian was fully booked until after we left. The burger restaurant wasn’t great, took over 30 mins to even give us a menu. When we did have our food they were all cold and not good. The table next to us had raw burgers 🤢 This hotel is also on the flight path for all landing planes into Rhodes airport, something that’s not mentioned anywhere. This is constant and very loud and annoying. When we contacted easy jet holidays about our issues they did not care and did not help. The only solution was to book and pay for a complete new holiday ourselves, which is not the response you want when in a foreign country with two small children. Overall this hotel is shockingly bad and I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor, poor, poor.

Our stay at this hotel in Greece was deeply disappointing and frustrating. Despite promising a relaxing getaway, the experience was anything but. Firstly, the so-called private beach turned out to be public. We encountered a disturbing situation with a man taking photos of guests without their consent. When reported, staff shrugged it off, saying there was nothing they could do because it was a public space. completely contradicting their advertising. We were told the police wouldn’t get involved, which made us feel completely unprotected and ignored. The staff themselves were unhelpful and, in some cases, dishonest. There was childish behaviour around some guests, and a ridiculous issue with people putting towels on sunbeds early in the morning, only to disappear for hours — completely unchecked by hotel management. Policy is “hotel guests must not reserve beds”. The food in the main restaurant was poor quality and the dining area was chaotic. It felt like a scramble every mealtime, and certainly not the peaceful, all-inclusive experience we expected. Ultimately, we left early. The whole experience was upsetting, and we found that many of the glowing reviews seem highly questionable. If you’re considering staying here, take caution — this hotel is absolutely not what it claims to be.

We stayed here for 5 nights, arrived fairly late at night and had booked a family room which was due to have 2 rooms both with 2 twin beds. The room we were given was appalling and more like a hostel. It had the tiniest bathroom and my daughters 'room' was a box with a dodgy sofa bed in that was filthy and falling apart. To top it off the lift was directly next to our room and the lift made so much noise, like a high pitched drilling all through the night. The room also did not have a working flushing toilet and the mattress me and my husband had was unbareable with springs coming through. I went to reception the first thing the following morning and told wait a few hours and will see what they can do. 4 times I went back to reception to be told at 8pm they couldn't do anything today but come back the next day. Roll on the next I was finally given a suitable room but no compensation was given except a bottle of wine and 3 pieces of fruit in our room that were from the all inclusive buffet. On our final day they let us have our room for a few extra hours. I spent 2 of my 5 days holiday chasing for a suitable room which isnt acceptable. Overall the food is fairly good, but long queues for everything, drinks, dinner, beach bar etc. The place looks nice in some places but really tired and worn in others, especially around the pool areas. The location is near the airport (its under a flight path which is fairly noisy) but thats about it. They use a travel company to provide buses into rhodes old town but fairly pricey.
