Stayed here for a first foreign family holiday with our (then) 18 month old daughter. Right from the start the staff couldn't do enough for us, and they certainly doted on our toddler. We were put in a corner apartment with a huge balcony and amazing views out to Symi island and Turkey beyond. Evening meals on the balcony with the sun setting behind Symi were a fantastic way to end each day. Food in the restaurants was delicious and easily big enough, but there was plenty of choices nearby if you didn't want to stay in. Facilities and entertainment were excellent and we will definitely be returning.

Nice hotel and great location. We had only room reservation (not any meals) but we had breakfast and dinner one day. Both were good, but we didn't want to pay so much for the food at the hotel. Instead we had dinner nearby, there were a lot of nice restaurants and cafes. The water at the pools was freezing! The adults' infinity pool area was nice, but drinks at cardboard mugs, really? Was not very fancy experience to sip Pina Colada from brown coffee mugs! :D Also, sometimes the noice from planes flying over the hotel was a bit disturbing (and they were many at one night!).

Just spent a week here at Sunbeach Resort Rhodes. Pros: on the beach, 2 supermarkets on site, a wine shop, 10 min stroll to more shops/restaurants/bars. Most of the staff were nice. Cons: had to inform reception staff 3 times that we had A LOT of ants in our room just inside the veranda door crawling up the curtains and on the table. The third time we just demanded the bug spray ourselves. Food was ok but ALWAYS cold even food just brought out. Not sure if I’d stay again

This hotel is definitely not a 4 star at best it's a 3 star and at worst a 2 star. Apparently the garden view rooms (which we were in although it was a road view not a garden view) are worse than the sea view ones on the other side of the road but I can't vouch for that. The hotel is so dated, the tiles in the bathroom are old fashioned and the grout is brown and disgusting, they still have shower over the bath with a shower curtain that sticks to you. The bottom of the bath was very discoloured where it had seen so much traffic. The general maintenance in the room was also very poor. We were self catering and there were stains all over the worktop, the air con broke down but when it did work it was really loud. door handles were rusty, broken doors at the bottom and there was a stale smell when the doors were closed. On two occasions the maids couldn't even be bothered to make the bed up properly and just pulled the top sheet over and chucked a top sheet on top of the bed for us to to put on. The general areas also need a lot of attention. the slabs around the pool were loose (there was a piece of chewing gum in between two slabs all week) and the tiles on the bottom of the pool were missing or looked dirty. The sunbeds were very rickety and didn't feel safe at all. I would strongly advise a total refurbishment over the Winter months or down grade to a more realistic rating.

Excellent staff they really make it for you , warm reception , felt like we were cared for. Very clean and comfortable.we relaxed a lot thanks to the staff. We hired a car from the hotel and service was very good. We explored the west side which we found more interesting than the east coast. There was a very handy supermarket as part connected also. A special thanks to Amelia, Emiliana Theodora, Melpo, Friday, George Michael , Michaela’s, (bar), management and the key man Archadios and all not mentioned. Joe and Sarah

Mario makes the best Freddo coffee cappuccino,highly recommend!!!! Perfect for a hot day at the pool!!!☕️☕️🎉🎉🎉 Had a great time serving coffee at the pool bar. We’ve enjoyed the espresso-based beverage ourselves every day of our holiday.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
