Food quality has not match with our exceptation . Hotel stuff are smiling and trying to help you. Hotel lil bit old and full of familes with little children. If you are single guy come enjoy with your friend its going to disturb you. İf you are single with no couple, dont chose this hotel.

We recently spent a week at the Lydia Maris Hotel and overall I would rate our experience 3/5. Jet2’s 4-star rating feels extremely generous to us. We had a pleasant enough holiday, but there were quite a few issues that stopped it from feeling like the quality of hotel we expected for the price we paid. The good: The swim-up room was absolutely delightful and, for us, by far the best part of the holiday. The swim-up area was much more relaxed and peaceful than the main pool, making it ideal if you want to escape the noise and crowds. I would definitely recommend booking a swim-up room if a more chilled-out holiday is what you’re after. The beds were also really comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep when we weren't being disturbed by noise from the neighbouring renovation work. The hotel itself and the grounds were clean and well maintained, with lovely gardens. The restaurant staff were also consistently friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food was generally good. The pizza, gyros and ice cream available throughout the day were a lovely lunchtime treat, and the pizza was particularly delicious. Most of the evening meals were enjoyable, with the Mexican, Asian and Greek themed nights being our favourites. The sushi was also good. However, there were two evenings out of our seven-night stay where we really struggled to find something we wanted to eat. We are definitely not fussy eaters. The spa is small, it doesn’t have the facilities of other spas we’ve been to but it was reasonably priced and the massage we had was good. We recommend hiring a boat at the nearby harbour for a day out on the sea. The location of the hotel is good, 12 minute walk to a beach, a minute or two to the nearby tourist shops, bars and restaurants. The not-so-good: The main pool area was extremely busy, feeling more like sardines in a tin than a relaxing holiday pool. It was also very loud, with music and animation throughout the day, seemingly aimed at late teenagers. If you are looking for peace and quiet, the main pool definitely isn't the place for you. Whilst there were plenty of sun loungers, they are not 4 or 5 star quality. The metal frame became incredibly hot in the sun and felt rather flimsy. We noticed quite a lot of dirt on the bottom of the pools and never saw them being properly cleaned during our stay - we only saw chlorine being added. There is no kids’ club, although to be fair, this isn't advertised as being provided either. There is a small mini club area outside the ice cream café with puzzles and drawing, but there simply isn't enough there to keep a child entertained for much longer than 20 minutes. The evening entertainment was poor and didn't really add much to the holiday. We joined in with bingo one night and it seemed like the host was helping the family who won. We were back in the room most nights by 9.30pm. The drinks were a slight disappointment. The alcohol was very weak, and iced coffees weren't included in the all-incl

Absolutely fantastic experience with Gustavo! He is such a happy, positive and genuinely welcoming person who puts 100% into everything he does. From the moment you meet him, you can tell how much he cares about making every single guest feel comfortable, valued and truly welcome. Gustavo is absolutely amazing at his job. His energy, enthusiasm and attention to every person really stand out, and he goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. He is a real asset to the hotel, and his positive attitude makes such a difference. Thank you, Gustavo, for being so wonderful and for making everyone feel so welcome. Really enjoyed this hotel. Everything was clean and ready to go. The food was excellent every day, I normally have a few rough meals at an all inclusive, but we loved every meal. We have a son that uses a mobility chair and we were able to use this around the hotel. We had a room with a swim up pool - this was fantastic as we could have some quiet time before going out to the main pool area. Everything was brilliant, the ONLY criticism I have is that the bar staff weren’t very cheery. Sometimes they didn’t even make eye contact when sliding a drink across the bar. Our cleaning maid was called Maria, she was absolutely fantastic. So friendly and seemed so excited to see us every day. She is a real asset to the hotel team. I would definitely go here again and definitely recommend it to others.

We travelled as a family of 17 with toddlers to adults all ages- honestly the best place I have stayed. Animation team completely made the holiday for both adults and children, the reception staff are welcoming, cleaners amazing and the lovely team behind the ice cream and gyros counters all very friendly. The rooms are a little small but you don’t spend much time in them! I had a swim up room and these are directly outside the main pool too so perfect location for me with young children. Great location with bars and shops walking distance. The only negative was there were some rude staff serving round the pool bar when it come to ordering more than one drink and when you find a drink you like he told me ‘I can’t make this anymore as you’ve had it all day’ not really a response you expect when you are paying for all inclusive! They would purposely make them very weak too on a few occasions, however there were also some very friendly staff! There are not many toilets around either so if you have a room further back then it’s a bit of a wait! I would definitely one day go back!!

We stayed here for 7 days as a family of 3, 2 adults and an 8 year old. The hotel is really nice, its not massive and has a cosy relaxed feel to it. We arrived at 11.30pm after a long day of travelling and were handed 3 packed lunches on our arrival which was much appreciated. We spent the first couple of days around the pool. The pool is large and isnt to deep at any point and there's plenty of shade available if required. If you want a sunbed right next to the pool you'd have to have your towels down by 6.45, if you were happy being on the grass a bit further back then before 9.00. The restaurant food is ok, very repetitive and not a great deal of choice...... the food is probably what let's it down from being a 5 star in my opinion. The staff are friendly, room was always clean. Entertainment staff are excellent anr⁷d are always up to something....... you'll here the word sabotage a lot from Gustavo! The surrounding area....... theres a strip about a 2 minute walk away which has a few Greek restaurants, some fast food joints, shops and bars...... we ate out a couple of times in the Greek restaurants and the food was superb. We also went to the beach which is a 5 minute walk, there were plenty of fish that you could see in the shallows. We did 2 day trips. Firstly we booked a pirate boat trip through tui. This was aimed at the younger ones and our 8 year old loved it, there were 3 swim stops and plenty of coastline to see along the way. We also went to Faliraki water park which we booked ourselves..... tickets were £75 for the 3 of us and taxis were £30 each way...... there is a free bus service from outside the hotel to the water park but in 40 degree heat we wanted to travel with a bit of air con! The water park was well worth the money! All in all we enjoyed our stay at lydia maris and Rhodes is great, we'd definitely come back to the island again

I had a 10 day holiday with friends at the Lydia Maris Resort and Spa. From the guest rooms by the pool, the restaurant to the bar and Spa facilities our stay was more than 5 star. The staff were all amazing and the the cleanliness of the whole Resort was amazing. All of the food options were plentiful and fresh. I would thoroughly recommend a stay with the great team. A big shout out for Marc and all his colleagues in the restaurant and bar and Gustavo and his team who organised and participated in all of the day and evening entertainment.

Just got back from a fantastic family holiday at the lydia Maris, I wouldn't say it's 5 star, but that's not a criticism, all of the staff bar none, from the receptionist to the bar staff to the cleaners are so friendly and welcoming, our rooms were spotlessly clean, the Restaurant offered everything you'd expect from an all inclusive, have to to say the Gyros from the Grecco snack bar and the pizza hut were top draw. We never had any problems getting beds by the pool. Special shout out to Gustavo from the animation team top, top bloke, I would 100% recommend this hotel, we were all party of 4 adults 2 kids
