Sabina Hotel

Just home from a week here after a lovely holiday with my son. The hotel itself, was lovely, extremely welcoming and helpful throughout, clean rooms everyday and generally very well maintained! Always sunbeds available. Perfect base for exploring! The area itself is the only reason I wouldn’t return. It’s ok if you’re wanting to just relax by the pool, anything out of that is abit tricky I think. Only a handful of restaurants to chose from, not much in the way of nightlife, a few nice touristy shops, but that’s your lot! We got a taxi into old town Rhodes, which was €35 each way, you can get a bus, which we used to get there 1 day but ended up getting a taxi back because the bus was extremely cramped, hot and very uncomfortable because it was so busy you’re left standing squeezed up to people! There’s an amazing petting zoo about 10 minutes taxi €20/€21 each way, I’ll leave a review for there but it was amazing!! The beach is a very short walk, very stoney and the water is pretty rough, it’s lovely and warm though! Overall, we loved our stay at the Sabina, just wish it were located in a more convenient place :( but that’s my fault for not researching the area fully.

Lovley little hotel, all the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The food is fab. Lovley relaxing place. With the beach just a 5 minute stroll down the road. There is nothing to dislike at all..

A quiet, clean hotel with decent breakfast and friendly staff. Suitable for rest and for families with children (I saw children as young as 3 years old!). The beach is pebbly, like most in this area, with a strong breeze, very good for windsurfing and kitesurfing (can be rented nearby).

I loved to stay at Sabina Hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff was amazing. The food at the hotel was good. Great tine to spend with my family and having that view and the swimming pool was fantastic. To go to Rhodes you can go by bus if not you can rent a car. There is Lindos to visit, Butterfly valley, Farma and many other places. We went to Theologos which is not far from our hotel and there is a taverna very nice there and the food was great. Lovely staff at Sabina Hotel. I would love to come back again. The seaside of Theologos is which rocks but is not a big deal you can wear a special shoes which you can buy from the village. There are few restaurants around Sabina hotel very nice. I like the hospitality there. And the Windy complete our holiday. Not too hot. You can go to Faliraki as well , they have clubs and nice beaches. Must visit Rhodes old town,amazing city , there is beach there, the castle you can visit. We had a good time. The only things informed yourself about the prices at the hotel. For few things you have to pay extra which is not a big deal

Visited the hotel with family including a 6 month old at the beginning of June. Upon arriving we were concerned as the hotel is in a run down area of the village, very barren with an abandoned car outside! But the hotel its self was fine. Large airy reception, very friendly receptionist. There is a small shop on site but items are very limited. The pool area and gardens are lovely and are very well maintained. There are plenty of sun beds but they are very uncomfortable after 20 mins - they really need changing ! For a small deposit you can hire pool towels which we did. The pool bar is great and staff very nice. Food at the hotel was lovely we ate nearly every item on the menu between us and enjoyed it all. Room was very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast wasn’t great but it depends on what you like- I’m not keen on chips in the morning so it wasn’t for me but there was plenty of breads, cereals and salad for those that like a continental. Cats ! If you don’t like cats there are a lot at this hotel approx 15 ? But to be honest they didn’t really bother us - they hang around the restaurant hoping for scraps but if you don’t feed them they don’t bother you. A short walk (15mins) away there are some lovely bars and restaurants which we went to every evening. The Sunset bar on the beach is stunning and Billy’s bar is great for the sport lovers. Overall a lovely holiday in a nice hotel. For what we paid for our stay we can’t fault it.

Most of the stay was great apart from one receptionist who pulled me aside and had an attitude at me Because the towel in my room accidentally had hair dye bleed out onto it. This also happened when I had the do not disturb sign on the door for no housekeeping to be done. Said if it happened again I’d be charged for it. Location isn’t ideal if you can’t drive my fault for not researching that a bit more. The other receptionist was very friendly.
