The treatment I got in this hotel has been the worse of my life. I had book for 5 nights with the right to cancel and get a full refund, and finally I needed to cancel one night. The hotel didn't reply no matter what until it was too late, and even with the proof of the tentative of contacting them they refused to refund even 1 euro. The workers have been extremely rude and unprofessional and not polite at all. In addition, the room was quite dirty, they didn't clean it every day as expected, and if you want to use the air conditioning they charge extra money, even if it was included in the description of the room and the reservation. The only decent thing is the location. I travel really a lot for work and pleasure, never experienced such a thing. Avoid it!!!

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help when there was an issue with my booking. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were big. There was a lovely pool space and rooftop bar. The location was fantastic as it is right next to the beach.

I called to ask about information in the afternoon and the clerk told me to pick up in the morning 7-3 when the reservation guys work. I called first at 10 and he hung up on me because he said there was a group of people. I say ok I will call later. I called at 14:30, the same employee answered and was in a hurry to hang up on me, and when I started to react because of his behavior, he said "sir, I have a group of 50 people, call me in an hour and a half", presumably the time when you will have finished your shift. If you don't get the service now, what will happen on the 15th of August? I'm not surprised by people's evaluations. Thanks, I won't take it.

That hotel is a joke! Check in at 3pm so we waited for 2hrs, no information given by the receptionist I had to ask her questions about the room constantly , and when the room was ready (3:15pm) she just gave me the key without saying where the room is or how to get there etc. We had to pay extra for the AC which was not mentioned, it was extremely dirty, ashes from cigarette in the drawers, the cleaner came twice in 8 days of our stay just to change towels and bedsheets (which where also dirty). Never cleaned the bathroom, hairdryer was broken, we had no Internet and when I went to complain about all these things all the receptionist did was to give me a new hairdryer ignoring all the other issues I mentioned and she didn't even apologise. For breakfast they served some mini croissants and burger bread that it felt like they had them for ages! On our 3rd day of staying, the lady on the breakfast was not there so I asked two espressos from the receptionist and her answer was that they don't serve espresso even tho we had it for 2 days already! We got our espressos half an hour later. A day before we left I mentioned to the receptionist that our room hasn't been cleaned and we don't have clean towels she said that the cleaners don't have time for that and she gave me 3 face towels. There's a fridge in the breakfast area with drinks that you're supposed to pay for and I needed 3 times a small bottle of water and they didn't charge me which was nice. Rooftop was nice but a bit dirty, bartender was lovely. The only nice person in there! Rest of the stuff very rude, not willing to help you with anything, except a guy that gave me informations how to get the bus to the airport on my last day. I would suggest all the receptionist to do their job better and to try to improve themselves instead of talking **** about their boss all the time! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! STAY AWAY!!!

So me and my brother flew in from England and stayed the week here, I booked before I looked at reviews then when I saw them i obviously panicked and thought it was gonna be a sh*T show, thankfully it was way better than expected. Firstly the location is great, 10 min walk from old town and the bus station where it costs €5 to go to lindos etc, sea a minute away, plenty of shops and restaurants around. The staff are very friendly and no extra fees were pushed on us, the room was clean, sure a bit of peeled paint was on the walls (not shocked due to humidity of Rhodes) but it was clean and nice. The room was cleaned 4 times in our 7 night stay and we enjoyed our visit, will definitely be staying again. I think some people pay for 2* and expect 5* lmao. For a 2* hotel it was way better than expected.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Hotel Parthenon. During my month-long stay in March 2024, I encountered numerous issues that made for an extremely unsatisfactory experience. Upon checking in, I found black mold in my room, which poses health hazards, especially as an asthmatic. Throughout my stay, additional problems arose: intermittent loss of hot water, backed up plumbing flooding the bathroom, broken amenities that were not fixed for days, excessive humidity and leaks causing more mold growth, construction noise violating local ordinances, and ineffective weekly cleaning. The owner was dismissive of my complaints, offering only more expensive upgrades. After toxic mold damaged my belongings, I had to check out early. Given the unaddressed mold, noise, flooding, and lack of maintenance, I advise avoiding this unsuitable accommodation. I am now seeking a full refund.

Stayed at the hotel 23rd December 2023 to January 3rd 2024. The booking was for hotel & breakfast. On questioning the receptionists twice regarding breakfast was told breakfast not served during winter months. Only receptionists & cleaners working. The receptionists did not advise that the breakfast costs were diverted to elswhere so went out for breakfast, That was over 12 days so no alternative offered. The Bed was comfy but the accomodation was basic. The room was not cleaned on 5 days during the stay. The fridge was empty, not even water in the fridge. If we wanted drinks, there was at least one fridge in the reception area that had water, bear & soft drinks that had to be paid for. we were on a budget but not so tight that we could not afford to have breakfast outside the hotel but had we have been on a tight budget the extra cost could have ruined the holiday. . The wardrobe had carrier bags left over from a previous occupant & in one drawer & a few disposable razors from a large pack in another drawer presumably from a previous occupant. Having spoken to Tripadvisor, they state the the hotel diverted the breakfast cost to an alternative option but we were not advised of the same & the hotel refuses to compensate for the additional cost of having to get breakfast outside the hotel. No compensation offered other than the one night we did not stay due to the late arrival of a connecting flight from Frankfurt to Rhodes. We spent over 250 euros eating breakfast outside the hotel due to the Parthenon not offering breakfast. I do not recommend this hotel other than to say the receptionists were polite but not informative about the stay. There were others staying at the hotel who may have had similar experiences. Th booking contained false advertising in stating hotel & breakfast but did not vocalise any alternative. That is money taken for services not offered. If you are looking to stay in Rhodes. try other hotels that may honour what is advertised. Rich & Judy Hinds.

Written by friend who visited the hotel: The bed was wonderful. Air contioning got broken in the middle of our visit and staff said someone would come to fix it. Nobody came, temperature was over 30celsius. There were no glasses for drinking water or for toothbushes. No shelves in the bathroom, shower space was tiny. We had to ask more toilet paper because there was only 1 cleaning (and one toilet paper roll) during our week's stay. Top roof and the pool area would need some renovating. The elevator to see the wiew did not work all the time. One lady from the staff was really rude towards customers, when asked about later check-out. There was no toilet in the lobby area (waiting for late fligth). Location was good. Services around hotel were good.

Hidden fees to use the air conditioning and safe deposit box. The rooms were dirty and full of bugs with various things broken that the hotel refused to fix like the lock to the door and the moldy furniture.

Had my doubts about this hotel due to other reviews but we were pleasantly surprised! Quadruple room a little small but then what can you expect with 4 people staying in one room! Very clean and towels and bedding changed 2 out of the 4 days we stayed. Could have done with a few more plates and bowls etc but I'm guessing not many people actually stay in and cook when there are 100+ restaurants within a 20 min walk. Good location, friendly staff and great roof top bar- a little noisy at midnight when all the drunk party goers are off to other bars but what do you expect ! Def recommend and glad I didn't change my booking in the end after reading other reviews!

This hotel is extremely unsatisfactory for several reasons. Firstly, if you are expecting a good night's sleep, you will be disappointed. The constant parties on the rooftop bar and in the hotel rooms make it impossible to find peace, even late at night. What's worse is that the hotel management seems indifferent to the issue and actually continues to organize these events. Additionally, there is a significant mosquito problem in the hotel, and the windows lack mosquito nets, allowing these annoying insects to freely enter the rooms. On top of that, there is a male staff, possibly the reception supervisor or hotel manager, who has a terrible attitude problem and is extremely rude. When I complained about being assigned a room with a broken bed, he dismissed my concerns, claiming he had more important things to attend to, such as organizing the rooftop party. I had no choice but to fix the bed myself. To make matters worse, despite paying the regular price for a double room, the hotel had some agreement issues with *********** and falsely claimed that I had paid a lower amount. As a result, they placed me in a hostel room, which was absolutely disgusting. In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. These are the honest observations and advice of a fellow traveler who has experienced the numerous shortcomings of this establishment.
