Anita Beach Hotel- Adults Only

Lovely hotel stay 5 nights it was much better than I expected would happily go again. Beach at the end of the road lovely places to eat drink within minutes of hotel. Breakfast was great if you are a full English type of person it may not suit but I thought it was perfect. The resort was so clean felt safe at all times its about 20 mins walk to Old town I did go and have a look but to be honest I had everything I needed on my doorstep. Wonderful hotel and resort just book you won't regret it.

We visited in July and the staff are amazing so friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcome. A big thank you to Mariana and katrin, what wonderful ladies The rooms are clean , a 2 minute walk to the beach just perfect Lots of restaurants near by,, there’s a supermarket a 5 mi it’s walking to get drinks and any other necessities you need The hotel helped us to hire a car with no problems at all Would definitely recommend going here

Forget yor fancy hotels anita beach was fantastic. A lovely hospitable family.2 minutes walk from beach,lovely rooms very clean, pool small but felt like my own personal pool during certain times of the day. The feel of being treated like family by such lovely people made our first experience in crete amazing. Could not think of a lovelier place to stay . We stayed at Anita Beach for a week and rated it highly for a 3* hotel. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and decorated well. AC & WIFI were free and worked well. There is a safe that you can pay €2 a day in the room but we did not feel the need. There are tavernas and mini-markets within a shirt walk. The beach is a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast was included; basic but always fresh. Definitely would go back and recommend it for other couples who do not want to be in the busiest area but not too far from it. To get to Rethymno Town was about a 30 minutes slow walk. We did it a few times but we also caught a taxi as it was just so hot. A taxi was €6 and the nearest taxi rank was at the beach (2 minutes walk). The old town is lovely. Many, many restaurants and shops. Taverna proprietors do ask you to come in and eat but if you don't want to just say so. In general we paid about €35 for a meal for 2 with some alcohol. There is always a freebie given such as a small dessert or drink. There is a market that sells fruit and veg, clothes etc in the centre on Thursday and Saturday. There is an open top bus ride (€15 per adult) which takes you around the town and out to local attractions just outside such as a military museum, a gorge and a monastery. If you want to go into an attraction you pay extra. The beach is mainly sandy, with a few pebbles nearer the water. Beach shoes help as the sea is rocky. You can hire 2 sunbeds with a shade very easily. These are €6 for the day or free if you buy drinks from the taverna who supply them. The beach is clean, although one day my husband found a syringe on the beach so just be aware. You can book trips or hire a car very easily. We hired an A class car for €30 and drove to Chania, stopping off at various places in between. The main road is easy to use. Overall, we really enjoyed our Crete holiday. The weather was great (28 to 33c). We would certainly recommend the hotel and Rethymno.

Knus gezellig familiehotel, vriendelijke en meelevende mensen. Mooie ruime kamer, zeer goede badkamer. Ontbijt met voor elk wat wils. We hebben ons daar zeer welkom gevoeld tijdens het 14-daags verblijf. Alles was goed geregeld. Men spreekt er ook Nederlands. Ligging vlak bij (100 meter) het grote strand van Rethymnon. Loopafstand tot begin centrum ruim een half uur, tot taxi standplaats 40 min. Per regelmatig rijdende bus een kwartier naar de andere kant van Rethymnon centrum. Voor sommigen een nadeel: zwembad is niet groot.

Отличный отель и приятная домашняя атмосфера. Особая благодарность Марине за доброжелательный прием и помощь в решении всех вопросов. Проживали в этом отеле на время ремонта дома на Крите. Чистота и наличие всего необходимого в номере впечатляют. Продумано все до мелочей. Спасибо огромное отелю за комфорт👍
